One Punch Man World - Closed Beta First Impression, Game Review & Gacha Rates

"One Punch Man World" is a new game of the “One Punch Man” saga. At the beginning of the game, we find Saitama sleeping in his room, but an army of Subterraneans Warriors begins to attack the city. It is at that moment that Saitama immediately springs into action to thwart the enemy attack, but just as he is about to deliver the final blow, the alarm clock goes off, making us realize that it was all just a dream of the poor Saitama, desperate because he can no longer find a worthy opponent. However, out of nowhere, "Vaccine Man" appears, a new incredibly powerful enemy who has already defeated "Smile Man" and "Lightning Max", two other superheroes. Just when it seems like Earth's fate is sealed and Vaccine Man has transformed into a terrible being, Saitama, as always, delivers a single, powerful punch that knocks Vaccine Man down. And once again, he despairs because he has become too strong and can't find a worthy opponent for his power! Discover a whole new story in this new game of One Punch Man!

What is One Punch Man World? 

"One Punch Man World" is a new action RPG similar to Genshin Impact, based on the famous One Punch Man series. In this new title, you can create a team of Heroes and Villains that you have surely encountered in the anime if you are a fan of the series. Each character belongs to a class (Red - Morale, Green - Technique, Blue - Assault, and Purple - Overpower), which determines their advantage or disadvantage against certain enemies in battle. Characters can also equip special gear called "Impression Arms", which provides additional skills and enhancements for them or the team. The game offers a wide range of content, such as the Main Story, where we find Saitama and his companions, Side Quests that reveal special stories about all the characters, Challenges that offer rich rewards, Daily Dungeons for character development, timed Events, Boss battles, a vast open world to explore, many mini-games, and much more. The game is currently in a closed beta, but the product seems to be of excellent quality. If you're a fan of Saitama and his adventures, One Punch Man World is the game for you! 

Game Content 

Main Story 

The "Main Story" of One Punch Man World will let you experience life as Saitama and his companions. In this game’s content, you can engage in numerous battles, watch cutscenes, and receive rich rewards such as Exp Cards, Credits (in-game currency), Memory Chips, and consumable materials for upgrades. Some Main Story Stages will also let you use Special Characters and give you a list of objectives, if you complete them all you will receive great rewards. Each stage of the Main Story consumes "intel" (stamina). Additionally, by completing the various objectives that each stage requires, you can obtain fabulous additional drops! 

Joint Action 

The “Joint Action” game content lets you participate in battle stages based on your Action level. This level can be further increased by gaining Action Exp from Joint Action or Commission Campaign. When Action Exp meets the current leveling up requirements and the player has completed all Joint Action at that level, the player will receive Upgrade Quest. Upon completing it, you will unlock High-Level Joint Action. You will receive One time rewards by completing Joint Action while also common rewards from it. Joint Action requires Stamina. 

Commission Campaign 

The “Commission Campaign” game content is the primary source for gaining developing resources. Each Commission has three exclusive rewards, 1 Gold 2 Silver. Challenging commission costs Intel (Stamina). The amount of Intel used and the rewards obtained vary depending on the Commission’s Multiplier. (Ex x2, x5 etc). Commissions are also differentiated according to Action Level. The higher the level, the better the rewards. Commissions are automatically generated every day at Server Reset (5 a.m.). Commission can also be accepted with other players by joining a team with Codes or Friends Invitation. 

Characters & Impression Arms 

Characters 

Every “Character” in One Punch Man World must be enhanced and leveled up to become powerful enough to tackle the game's toughest bosses and stages. Let's see how to make the characters stronger to progress in the game: 

Character Stats 

• HP: Your Character Health point. If your team HP reaches 0, you are defeated. 

• ATK: Your Character Attack Point. Increase damage dealt by your Character. 

• DEF: Your Character Defense Point. Reduce the damage received by your Character. 

• Class Specific ATK: Each Character has a Specific ATK (Overpowered, Technical, Morale, Assault) that increases his damage output. 

• Crit Rate: The Chance to land a Critical Hit.

• Crit Dmg: Increase the Damage of Critical Hit. 

Develop 

• Players can level up their Character by obtaining EXP Cards from Joint Actions game content, Commission Campaigns, Quest, etc. Exp cards come in three levels. Level 1 (10 Exp), Level 2 (50 Exp), Level 3 (100 Exp).  

Breakthrough 

• When a Character reaches their Max Level, they can undergo a Breakthrough. Breakthrough consists of Six Stages, and each Breakthrough stage has a Max Level Limit. 

Breakthrough 0/1/2/3/4/5 = Max Level 20/30/40/50/60/70

After completing a Breakthrough, their basic stats will receive a significant boost. Each time a Character completes a Breakthrough stage, they will go back to level 1.  

Hero Potential 

• When you obtain a duplicate Character through means such as Drawing and Quest Rewards, it will automatically be converted into “Potential Enhancement items” for that Character. You can use those obtained items to increase the specific Character Potential up to 6 times. Potential effects include: Improving Stats, Increase cap of Passive Skills, Enhancing Character Battle Characteristics, Strengthening or altering the Characters skill and more. 

Battle Tier 

• Each type of Hero has to use Specific Battle Log and Special Monster Drops to increase Battle Tier. Submitting Spoils or Battle Logs will increase the Character’s Stats. Once you submit all required material, you can increase the Battle Tier level. Upon Successful Battle Tier promotion, a large amount of additional stats will be granted. 

Chip 

• The “Chip” is your Character Equipment. Chip can improve your Character stats or give passive ability / enhance skills of your character. 

Impression Arms 

The "Impression Arms" are special equipment that can be obtained through Gacha, Events, Quests, and more. Each Impression Arms can only be equipped by the corresponding character. Each character can choose to activate only one Impression Arms during battle, as needed. Once you obtain Impression Arms for your character, you can activate it from the corresponding menu. Furthermore, Impression Arms can be upgraded when duplicates are obtained. Each Impression Arms can be upgraded up to six times, and the effect it provides can be enhanced or even changed based on the level reached. Increasing Impression Arms level requires 1 Dupe.

The “Beginner’s Collection” Banner in One Punch Man World is a Special Banner that will give you the chance to get one of your favorite SSR Characters. You can only Summon in this banner using “World Gold” (Premium Currency). You can Re-Summon in this banner an “Infinite” number of times, the first 10 Refresh are free, then all subsequent refreshes will cost World Silver. After you obtain your favorite result, the banner will disappear. Here’s the rates:
