PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular mobile games out there, if not the most popular. As such, it comes to no one's surprise that PUBG New State is coming out and will be an absolute banger. This guide talks about all the differences between PUBG Mobile and New State and what you can expect. If you haven't already, you can download PUBG New State on LDPlayer.
PUBG Mobile and PUBG New State are both set in completely different times. New State is set in 2051, which is the near future. The game consists of tons of different vehicles and equipment that are not available in PUBG Mobile.
As such, both the games have a completely different dynamic in terms of their playstyle. There are a few differences you'll be noticing first instantly. Firstly, PUBG Mobile features more classic vehicles such as hatchbacks, pick-ups, and old muscle cars. Whereas, while New State does offer some of the options, it also adds on with futuristic hoverbikes and more, as seen in the game's trailers.
When it comes to weapons, there isn't a major difference. You'll be looking at updated and different versions of your favorite guns like the AK-47. However, they will still fire and play the same. Unlike what most players suspect, New State will still try to remain as realistic as possible. Therefore, it will not feature lasers or Plasma weapons as they can completely ruin the game's immersion.
2051 will also be filled with electric vehicles meant for silent driving with blue neon lights. However, you will still be able to find conventional vehicles like noisy motorcycles.
Gadgets are supplementary attachments that you can use either with your weapon or through your inventory. In PUBG Mobile, such an item does not exist. The gadgets you do have are primarily your throwables which can be classified between a frag, stun, and flash.
PUBG New State is relatively different, you will be able to find throwables, but you will also have access to gadgets that you can use to completely change the battlefield. For example, you can implement a wall at any point during the game, which acts as a shield for you and your team. However, gadgets do much more than act as meat shields. They add a layer of depth unique to the game, which you won't find anywhere else. Drones and ballistic shields are confirmed to be added to the game as of yet.
So, while the game does not capture the traditional boots-on-the-ground gameplay dynamic of PUBG Mobile, it does add its flair, which is unique in its own right. Expect more verticality and different skills and abilities coming out from each player in New State than PUBG Mobile. PUBG New State will have the largest map out of any PUBG game yet. It dwarfs Vikendi, Sanhok, and Miramar and thus claims the throne of the largest map. However, unlike other larger maps in PUBG Mobile, which are generally quite barren, the new city of Troi will be an absolute masterpiece to behold in terms of its dynamism and the number of options you will have on the map.
Most of the buildings on the map will be interactable and will contain loot inside them. Moreover, since the map will be based on a dense city, it will be based in numerous different clusters, with each having its ambiance and vibe. They will also be featuring a unique take on verticality, with scalability now being possible due to gadgets and attachments. So, now you will be able to traverse buildings both vertically and horizontally. Snipers are galore!
With the map now larger, you will be able to size in more players at the same amount of time. So, there's a high chance that the game's new iteration will have more than 100 players on the same battlefield! The map is also rumored to have interactable objects, including elevators, escalators, lifts, zip lines around the map.
Krafton will be implementing next-gen graphics in PUBG New State. You will also experience Global Illumination for rendering, which should add an increase in realism and intensity. By looking at the trailers, you should get an idea that the game will look much more aesthetically pleasing.
Moreover, with an increase in graphics and a completely new engine, you will also be able to experience higher resolutions and frame rates, which PUBG Mobile has been extremely vague about over the years.
There will also be new features added in PUBG New State, which you won't be seeing in PUBG Mobile. Of course, not all new features will be accepted and loved by the community. However, the developers have stressed that the game itself will be playing at a much faster pace and will be more abstract than the previously released PUBG Mobile.
As mentioned earlier, PUBG New State will have faster-paced matches as compared to its counterpart. One such feature that enhances this further is that combat rolls will be implemented into the game. This significantly increases the game's pace as players will be able to move into and move out of cover much more quickly, with shooting mechanics feeling more fluid.
However, you should not be expecting a huge change in gameplay as the time to kill is rumored to be the same. So, while you will be able to find players much more quickly, they will still be dying at the same rate, so the game's pace remains relatively the same. PUBG Mobile does not have any weapon attachment changes beyond what is currently present in the game. However, Gunsmith loadouts let you change a weapon to a very significant margin. While this is great for multiplayer games, it might not be useful in a Battle Royale setting.
But, according to the developers, you should get a customized version that you set up from your gunsmith loadout a little like the current system with how weapons work in PUBG Mobile.
PUBG has completely changed the way New State plays. With a faster pace, you'll quickly need to get used to a different pace of play. With the game releasing globally on all platforms soon, PUBG Mobile will certainly get a run for their money.
