Let’s play Punishing Gray Raven on PC and find out together!
Building up a construct is an extremely long process that requires much resources and investment in each and every single function in order to not only improve their damage output but also to allow the Constructs experience their fullest potential in gameplay, movement and team building in order to help them perform in their best possible state during a battle stage. A Construct ultimate goal and the sign of their ultimate power is once they have obtained the Ultima state, signifying their fullest potential.
In order to reach a construct’s Ultima status, several important things need to be achieved for each construct.
Like other gacha games, one of the most important and simplest ways a player can improve their characters’ combat potential is through leveling them up via the different means that the game provides in order to improve their stats overall. In Punishing Gray Raven, in order to level up a Construct, players will need to spend a large amount of special EXP Pods and Cogs in order to level them up to the maximum level of 80.
However, it is also important to note that the Construct’s level will reflect the highest level of the players’ accounts, meaning players will need to reach lv 80 before they have the chance to level their construct to their maximum level of 80.
When leveling the Construct, players will also have the chance to improve the Construct by spending Cogs to Promote them to different ranks, each improving the Constructs’ stats immensely and allow them to unlock more abilities the higher their ranks are. Once they have reached lv 80, Construct can be promoted to the Hero rank, which is the highest possible rank for any Construct.
Another more expensive way players can enhance their Constructs’ power and combat ability is to spend special Construct shards to Evolve the rank of each Construct higher.
Each of the Constructs in the game have a distinct rank, with the B rank as the starting point of 4* Constructs, A Rank as the starting point for 5* Constructs and S Rank for 6* Constructs. However, every Constructs can climb to higher ranks by evolving them using their specific Constructs Shards. The highest possible Rank a Construct can climb is to Rank SSS+3, immensely enhancing their combat prowess and unlocking all of their powerful skills and passive potentials.
In order to evolve a construct to a higher rank, players will need to spend Constructs Shards which can only be obtained by rolling for extra copies of existing Constructs and exchanging them for shards in order to evolve them to higher ranks. This method of enhancing characters to higher level is extremely luck heavy and requires long term investment and rolling from players, so players should pay attention and consider carefully before attempting to Evolve these characters by rolling extra copies of them.
Another way players can upgrade their Constructs is by leveling up their Constructs’ different abilities and skills levels.
Each Construct will be assigned with 3 different types of attacks on the field, related to a different colored orb - Red,Blue or Yellow. By leveling up these orbs’ levels, players will be able to further enhance each individual attacks’ modifiers and allow the Constructs to deal more damage overall.
In addition to the different colored orbs, players will be able to level up the constructs’ abilities, passives, signature moves and ultimate moves’ level to up to lv 20, allowing players to further strengthen the chances of different effects being able to initiate and enhance individual constructs’ damage output through their different passive and abilities. Leveling up a skill of construct will require players to spend a large amount of Skill Points and Cogs, so players should farm them up in advance.
Aside from the innate abilities that players can enhance on individual Constructs themselves, their equipment and equipment sets are also extremely important for players to equip them with to enhance their combat ability. These equipment include a character’s weapon and their 6 memory slots.
A character's weapons will depend on the type of weapons each construct uses, with different rarity being assigned to them and different effects assigned to them depending on their rarity. However, each construct will have a 6* Signature weapons available for grab in the gacha system, with their ability cater made for the individual construct.
For Memories, each construct can be equipped with 6 different memories, with different effects and stats assigned to them. The main point to note about memories is that they will have special effects when a certain amount of memories of the same set is equipped, granting beneficial effects and buffs to individual Constructs.
Both Weapons and Memories equipment can be further enhanced using their resonance mechanic, which further unlock hidden abilities within them by the players spending unique items to resonate each item or by resonating them using extra copies of the same equipment.
The ultimate goal and the sign of a Constructs’ full potential, an Ultima Awakening can only be achieved when players have enhanced the construct to a high enough BP level of 5500, a level that will be raised by the different ways mentioned before. In addition, players will need to have equipped the Construct with a fully resonance 6* Memory set, with 12 full hidden abilities unlocked.
Once achieved, this ultima awaken status grants the constructs an extremely powerful benefit when they first enter a battle, allowing them to have an upper hand in combat compared to before.
Players should take leveling and enhancing different Constructs skills as top priority as they are the easiest thing to do in order to strengthen the Construct’s stats and abilities.
In order to obtain the Ultima Awakening Status, players should also farm from events and Memories nodes in order to obtain enough pieces for a good set of 6* memories unique to each type of Constructs in order to resonate and equip them to the Constructs. For weapons, rarity is not an issue as long as the strength and effect of the weapon is good enough at 5* Rarity.
