Let’s play Punishing Gray Raven on PC and find out together!
Together with the Spiral Of Chronos Update Patch, players can partake in a special limited time event that allow players to use their own well-built Constructs and even surpasses their abilities in order to fight waves of dangerous enemies and bosses by equipping special abilities add ons and submerge the constructs to the lowest depth of the sea to challenge the players’ abilities.
Simulacrum Submersion is a special limited time event in Punishing Gray Raven that functions as a special challenge event that require players to clear sets of battle stages and goes down as far as possible into the depth of the sea, with lower the meters, the more powerful the enemies will become and the challenge stages will become extremely annoying and difficult to deal with.
In the Simulacrum Submersion, players will be required to clear special layers, with each layer being divided into 20 meters of submersion floors, with each meter representing a floor and containing 1 battle stage that players will need to clear. Once players have reached the 10 meter mark for each layer, players will be faced with a challenging boss stage that requires them to bring up to 4 different teams of 3 constructs to the fight and go through a gauntlet of up to 4 battles back to back.
In addition, for every 5 meter mark floor players reach, they will enter a special battle where they will need to, within the time limit, defeat as many waves of enemies as possible. Success in doing so will allow players to skip up to 5 consecutive floors, allowing them to jump through and to the 10th floor layers faster and more efficiently in addition to rewarding players with additional rewards.
During this game mode, for every battle cleared, players will be rewarded with special buffs known as Add-ons, which can be equipped to individual Constructs to boost their power, combat abilities and grant them special effects.
Add-Ons are special event exclusive cards and items that players can obtain by completing each battle stage in the Simulacrum Submersion gamemode. These Add-Ons allow players to equip them to each Construct to boost their abilities and grant them special buffs. Add-ons are divided into different rarities, going from 2* to 6* rarities, with the higher rarity Add-ons providing better effects when equipped.
During the Simulacrum Submersion, each individual Constructs will be granted a certain amount of Load number that can be spent to equip the Add-Ons to that Constructs. The higher the Add-Ons rarity is, the more load will cost, however, there’s no limit to how much add-ons players can equip to a Construct, so players should pay attention to this and equip the suitable add-ons to each Constructs.
Add-ons are divided into 2 main types: General Add-Ons and Construct Specific Add-Ons. General Add-Ons can be equipped by every Constructs no matter the rarity, allowing the Constructs to obtain various buffs that benefit any Constructs that are equipped with it.
Construct Specific Add-Ons are as the name suggests, can only be equipped by specific constructs. These Add-ons are extremely powerful and are catered specifically to boost the performance of individual Constructs, therefore equipping them to their specific Construct is highly advised in conjunction with equipping them with generic Add-ons as well.
Another important mechanic to Simulacrum Submersion is the special Perception Amplification system. This system allows players to boost the offensive and defensive capabilities of all Constructs by allowing players to spend a special event currency to manually adjust the buffs provided to all Constructs.
The four buffs that players can level up and adjust are:
- Might - Attack and Crit Chance: Increase this will help boost a Construct attack stat and critical stat, allowing the construct’s attacks to become more powerful and help Physical-based constructs to be able to land critical hits more easily.
- Constitution - HP and Healing: Increase this will help increase Constructs’ max HP and healing amounts for support constructs, helping to maintain survivability.
- Tenacity - Def and Damage Reduction: Increase this will also reduce the damage that Constructs will take from enemies, helping to improve Constructs’ defensive capabilities.
- Focus - Elemental Damage and Resistance Ignore: Increasing this will heavily benefit teams that rely on Elemental damage as it will help them deal even more damage and significantly reduces enemies’ resistance to elemental damages.
During the Simulacrum Submersion event, players will have a set amount of missions they need to complete in order to obtain special event limited currencies that can be spent in order to exchange for event limited items such as character upgrading materials, summoning tickets, special CUB and Weapon upgrading materials and even special voucher tickets to exchange for 6* S Rank Constructs' shards.
The missions will be divided into daily missions and achievement missions where players will have to complete a set amount of challenge battles each day or reach a certain depth in the Simulacrum Submersion in order to finish the mission and claim the event exclusive currencies.
Finally, the Recycling Arrangement is the Simulacrum Submersion event’s limited time available shop where players can exchange their hard earned event currencies obtained from completing the achievement missions to exchange for special character upgrading materials and many different event exclusive items available for a limited time.
Keep in mind that the lower you go into the depth, the more event exclusive items will be unlocked for exchange such as special limited time Vouchers to exchange for S Rank Constructs’ shards, 500 Limited Construct R&D research ticket (equal to 2 pulls), 250 CUB R&D research ticket and 250 weapon R&D research tickets. These items will be unlocked gradually and players should prioritize getting them when they become available.
Aside from them, players can exchange for large quantities of character upgrading materials as well, so once they have cleared up the limited event exchange section, they should spend the rest of the currencies on these special Construct upgrading materials to prepare for the future.
