Punishing Gray Raven’s brand new Spiral Of Chronos update can be divided into 3 different sections - the Extra Story Chapter, the New Characters Interludes and special challenge and farming stages in addition to an event shop.
Available from this update onwards, the newly introduced Extra Story Chapter - Spiral Of Chronos allows players to go through the events leading up to the introduction and subsequent joining of Hyperreal: Lee into the Gray Raven squad. Go through the extra story chapter and obtain many valuable materials for character upgrading and special currencies for gacha in the game.
There are 2 difficulties for the Extra story chapter - Normal and Hidden with the Hidden difficulty requiring players to invest heavily into their characters so be sure to be prepared for this challenge.
During the Update duration, a new character interludes chapter will be available for all players that are lv 40 and above and have access to character interludes.
Clearing these character interludes provides players with extra background information for the new character introduced during this Update. In addition, playing the interlude chapters allow players to playtest the new characters of this update, allowing them to have a better understanding of their playstyles and help decide if you should roll for the new characters.
Clearing these Character Interlude Chapters also reward players with a lot of gacha currencies, so make sure to clear them while they are available during this update since once this Update has passed, you will need to own the characters to access these Interlude Chapters again.
In addition to brand new permanent contents added into the game like the story chapter and the character interludes, we also receive Event Specific Farming Stages that only last during the Update period and will be gone forever after the update has ended.
Farming these stages will reward players with special currencies that they can then use to exchange for various rewards from the Event Shop such as EXP pods, Cogs, Brand New Set of Memories and special event exclusive items.
Farming the Special Event stages will reward players with special currencies that they can then use to exchange for various rewards from the Event Shop such as EXP pods, Cogs, Memories.
Players should prioritize getting the event exclusive 6* Memories for Bianca:Stigmata from the event shop first and foremost as they cost a large amount of event currencies. Once players have exchanged for all of the shards, players then can priorities other upgrading materials such as EXP, Cogs Boxes, 6* Memories, etc.
It is also important to note that special Memories that suit Hyperreal: Lee combat prowess will be discounted during the event’s period as well, so players should exchange 1 set of that special memory set in order to boost his combat capabilities.
With the release of the Spiral Of Chronos Update Patch of Punishing Gray Raven, players will have the chance to obtain a brand new S Rank Construct - the S Rank Fire Oriented Omniframe Construct - Hyperreal: Lee.
Hyperreal Lee is a 6* Fire elemental Omniframe Construct that is extremely powerful in his ability to initial a special state called Hypermatrix where he can freely deal massive amounts of damage to all enemies by barraging them with massive amounts of artillery and deal massive amounts of Fire elemental damage to them.
Hyperreal: Lee skills revolve around him propelling himself through and around the battlefield while calling his other alternate universes selves to throw grenades and shoot the enemies in order to deal massive amounts of Fire elemental damage to all enemies standing in his way. Hyperreal Lee’s Red Orbs allow him to jump forward into the air, dodging all enemies' attacks and quickly approaching the enemy’s location, throwing down a massive blast of fire attack down at them. His Yellow Orb allows him to do a side swipe, throwing grenades towards the enemies ahead of him and dealing Fire elemental damage. Finally, his Blue Orbs allow him to charge up his energy and prepare for his special Hypermatrix gauge.
Hyperreal Lee’s strong point and his main mechanic will be activated the moment he fills his special Hypermatrix gauge. Once filled, players can hold down the normal attack button to allow Hyperreal Lee to initiate a special mid-air snipe attack against the enemy and allow him to enter his special Hypermatrix mode. In this state, all of Hyperreal Lee’s Signal orbs will be replaced with Yellow and Red Orbs, and he will be able to nimbly dodge any enemy attacks while in Hypermatrix. For every 3-orb Ping player do during this state, Hyperreal Lee will gain 1 stack of special Ammo, which when accumulated to 4 stacks, will unleash a massive amount of damage to all enemies on the field and ending the Hypermatrix state. In addition, if players have pinged 3-orbs Pings before Hyperreal Lee enters his Hypermatrix state, these 3-orb pings will be recorded and return the players once they have entered the Hypermatrix state, allowing him to store orbs to deal even more damage.
Finally, Hyperreal Lee’s final powerful attack comes after players have accumulated enough of his Signature energies while he is in his special Hypermatrix mode. Once accumulated, Hyperreal Lee can then unleash a massive cannon blast towards all enemies, dealing massive amounts of Fire elemental damage to all standing in his way when he is out of Hypermatrix mode. This attack is further enhanced if Hyperreal Lee is of high Rarity and Rating. In addition, players can activate all of the other Constructs QTE while he uses this special attack once he has reached the S5 status, allowing him to further enhance his damage output.
Yes, You Should. Hyperreal Lee is the game’s most unique Construct gameplay wise and is one of the game’s most powerful Fire DPS options right now and for the foreseeable future, making him extremely valuable to have. In addition, his abilities and effects allow him to transcend the elemental boundaries and even clear many contents outside of his intended Fire element. Therefore, players should absolutely attempt to roll for him as he will be a massive boon to have to challenge the difficult contents in the game’s future.
