TFT Team Building - Tips & Tricks To Make The Best Teams

To win a rank match in Team Fight Tactics, there are different types of strategies that players can utilize in order achieve victory, with some of the traits requiring you to win matches in order to gather resources, obtain special items or special characters to snowball the game in your favor, and some traits even needing you have a losing streak in order to gather as much economy as possible to win the game.

For Players Who Want To Focus On Winning Rounds & Snowballing

The normal tactic and one of the more traditional way of team building in TFT, snowballing means that you want to win as many matches as possible in order to complete your tam with powerful traits that grants you extreme benefits and economy the more characters you obtain.

To achieve this, it is highly recommended that players focus on obtaining units from the Cyberboss, A.M.P or Street Demon traits in order to start their strengthening processes, allowing you to obtain powerful effects from having as many chess pieces of these traits as possible.

Overwhelm Your Enemies With Sheer Economy & Gold

For players who want to completely overwhelm their enemies with gold and economy in order to obtain powerful units, players should consider using the Cypher trait.

When using the Cypher team, you are required to lose as much as possible in order to obtain various benefits from a  losing streak, allowing you to accumulate as much economy as possible in a short amount of time in order to be able to buy powerful units and equipment as quickly as possible to make a come back later on during the match.

Obtain Powerful Unique Traits

Aside from the different trait combos and teams that you can make, it is important to note that there are specific characters and chess pieces that you can obtain that have their own unique traits - including GAREN: GOD OF THE NET and ZAC: VIRUS, which in of themselves can completely dominate a match by having them on the field. Therefore if players were to obtain these chess pieces in the shop or through other means, you should absolutely consider deploying them onto the battlefield if it doesn’t interfere with your overall strategy.

Don’t Focus Only In 1 Trait Team

Simply focusing on a single Trait team is not recommended due to the difficulty of obtaining all the chess pieces from a single trait to achieve the full trait effects.

Therefore, it is highly recommended that players mismatch different traits at different ratios to achieve good team balance and effects to help achieve round and match victories.
