In Tale of Food, you are the son of Yizhi, the great Food God. As the descendant of the Food Lord, you own the best restaurant in the world, but one day, a new restaurant is about to start its service just in front of yours! The Lord of the “Realm of Melanya” doesn't believe you deserve to be the Food God cause your father married a mortal woman, so he’s here to claim the Food God Title! The same time this guy tells you this, one of the ancient beasts, Taotie, is being released from his century seal and now being a threat to your entire city! Gather new “Food” characters, fight monsters and enemies and become the Food God you need to be in this new husbandos collection game!
The Tale of Food is a new Turn Based Gacha RPG where you can fight enemies as the God of Food. Each character in the game is called by a food name, and there’s only male characters. You can team up with 4 Characters, each with different roles based on the skills they have (Poison, Heal, Dispel, Control, Burst etc) so they can deal Damage, Support the team with healing, Disrupt enemy formation with Stuns and Poison Etc. The game offer a lot of PvE Content, such as Main Story with both Normal and Hard Difficulty, Resource Stage as Daily Farming Content to obtain Item for “Star up”, Utensils (Equipment) and Exp Items. There’s also a “Manor” system with your own house to decorate, Farm, Kitchen and Restaurant Mini games and much more! The “Main Story” is the first Game Content you will unlock while playing The Tale of Food. In this game mode you can discover the game main plot, while also complete stages in both Normal and later on Hard difficulty. Each stage rewards you with different items, such as Bunny Bun (Exp Items), Shells (Gold), and also Jade and Characters (even SSR!) as a first time completion. Each stage costs Stamina. After you complete a stage for the first time, you can also use Auto Farming for free (paying only stamina, no tickets required). You can use both “200% Efficiency Run” to spend double stamina to receive double drops, and “Fortune Bag” to increase your chance of obtain better drops in Main Story Stages.
The “Groove of Harvest” is the first Daily Content you unlock in The Tale of Food. In this game mode you can fight different stages to obtain “Star Up” materials for your Characters.
Cashew Grove
A Battle that requires “Heal Prevention” Characters. Winning the stage will reward you with “Nut”
Hazelnut Grove
A Battle that requires “Healing” Characters. Winning the stage will reward you with “Hazelnut”
Walnut Grove
A Battle that requires “Pierce/Def Drop” Characters. Winning the stage will reward you with “Walnut”
Almond Grove
A Battle that requires “Poison” Characters. Winning the stage will reward you with “Apricot”
All stages cost Stamina, and you can complete those stages both alone or with other players by creating a room. If played solo, you can also use Auto Farming, 200% Efficiency Runes and Autumn/Fortune Charm Bag.
The “Rabbit Roulette” game content lets you consume stamina to play a Roulette. If you are lucky, you can receive a great quantity of Exp Items, if you are not, a fight will come out and you will receive a good quantity of Exp Items. The higher the stages, the more stamina they will cost.
The “Apex of Phantom” game content lets you complete stages to obtain Utensils. Those items can be equipped by Characters to obtain stats and special passive abilities. Each stage requires stamina.
The “Manor” game content lets you play various mini-games that let you gather food, currency, and character affection.
Study
The Study Room is the Main Character Room. Here you can receive messages from others Characters and also interact with them with special Chat
Home
The Home is your house. You can invite up to 4 Characters to live with you. Here you can also convert Grain obtained from battles into Exp Item, Increase the Comfort with Decoration and visit other players houses.
Farm
The Farm lets you gather a lot of basic ingredients that are needed to cook new food into the restaurant. You can level up the farm with Special Currency and Shell, and also place Characters as Guards to increase the currency you get.
Kitchen
The Kitchen is the place where you can send your Character to work as Chief. After cooking a Recipe enough times, you will unlock a new one. You can sell cooked recipes in the Restaurant, or submit them in a Banquet.
Restaurant
In the Restaurant you can sell dishes you have prepared in the Kitchen, have Banquet to receive special items, and also have “Peak Hour” to increase your Selling for a short time

Roles
100% Hit = This Character is specialized on Hitting the target while ignoring Dodge
Sunder = This Character is specialized in reducing the target Defense
Heal = This Character is specialized in Healing teammates and protect them
Poison = This Character is specialized in Poisoning the enemy, reducing his %HP every turn
Purify = This Character is specialized in Cleasing teammates from debuffs
Burst = This Characters is specialized in Dealing Great Damage and amplify damage the target receive
Heal Prevention = This Character is specialized in Preventing the target from receiving Healing
Support = This Character is specialized in assisting teammates in various ways (Buff/Debuff etc)
Dispel = This Character is specialized in removing Buffs from Enemies
Control = This Character is specialized in inflicting Crowd Controls on Enemies (Stuns, Paralyze, etc)
Immune = This Character is specialized on making teammates immune to damage
Level Up
You can complete stages or use Exp Items (Bunny Bun) to increase a Character Level. Each time you reach a Level cap (Ex: 20) you need to “Star Up” your Character to further increase his level
Star Up
With Star Up you increase your Character Max Level. Also increase Base Stats and unlock Special Rewards
Ascend
You can Ascend your characters by using Dupes or Special Items (Spices). Every time you Ascend your Character you receive a Passive Bonus. You can Ascend your Characters 7 Times
Utensils
The Utensils are Character Equipment that you can obtain while playing the game. Utensils give your character new Passive Ability. You need 3 Utensils of the same type to active the passive bonus
The “Utensils” are the equipment for your Characters. There’s 3 utensils you can obtain, Spoon, Cup and Bowl. Three of the same set of Utensils are required for activating the passive ability of the Utensil. They can also have SR or SSR rarity. Here’s some of the best Utensil you can obtain in the game

Underglaze Red = When using attacking Skills, 30% Chance to trigger 1 Extra Normal Attack
Gold Leaf = Enter Berserk Mode at start of battle for 1 turn, increase damage by 30%
Hair Crystal = Recover 15% HP When health is lower than 30%
Pastels = When Applying effects to any target, 20% chance to increase duration by 1 turn
Agate = When using Healing Skills, increase healing ability by 10%
Rosewood = Crit Chance +30%
Black Pottery = Crit Damage +60%
Red Gold Flower = When attack lands, 50% chance to lower Target attack for 2 rounds
As the start of the game, only SR Utensils can be obtained while farming Apex of Phantom, while SSR Utensils while be unlocked later in the game
The “Limited Time Summon” in The Tale of Food is the “Rate-Up” Banner in the game. It features 2 Characters at once with increased rate. You can summon in this banner with Soul Core, with a cost of 1 Soul Core for a single summon and a cost of 10 soul core for a x10 summon. You can also exchange Jade for Soul core (180 Jade x 1 Soul Core). Here’s the rates:
