Making Your Character

At the start of Astral Tale, what you have to do is make your character. The game provides you with a lot of freedom in creating a character, so pick the one that suits you the most. However, you may be wondering which Astral Tale class you should choose. You will have four class options: the Mage, Swordsman, Gunslinger, and Cleric. To select a class, you only need to know what their gameplay style is. 

The mage class uses magic spells to attack, the swordsman uses a big sword to deal damage to enemies up close, the clerics use holy spells to deal damage (similar to mages), and lastly, the gunslinger uses guns, as the name implies. When creating your first character, you can go with any because if you don't like the class, you have the option to change your class while inside the game. 

To change classes, open the class tab from the action bar located in the lower right section of the screen and use the switch option. But the class you select can be considered as a separate character. This means the class you play the most will level up while others stay at the same level until you play them and level them up too. That means, If you want to have all classes in the same level range, you will have to play them all. 

Even though you could level up all classes available to you, it is not recommended to try to do so. This is because that would lead to a very unbalanced and tiresome leveling experience. Instead, test all of them if you are curious and pick one to stick to until you get a better understanding of how the game is played. 

All of the classes have additional subclasses you can develop, and there is also a special class that unlocks through progression. To unlock these special classes, you have to find items that drop from dungeons, and they are highly rare. You will have to buy a drop rate increase buff from the shop to increase the chance of finding them.

Subclasses and Skills

As we said earlier, each Astral Tale class has two subclasses. To activate the skills of subclasses, you need specialization skill points. You can earn these specialization points through leveling up. When choosing a class, you get access to five class skills. These skills can only be used while playing that class. 

In addition to these class-specific skills, you gain two more common skills. These skills are not class-specific, and you can use them when playing as any class. Lastly, each class has three ultimate skills. You can deal high damage by activating these skills, and they have a 30-second cooldown. 

When playing, you have to select one of the three ultimates to be active, and you cannot use all three of them at once. You should also know that to activate ultimate skills, you need to have a certain amount of SP. The SP has to be generated through normal skills. Each time you use a class-specific skill, you will fill up the ultimate skill gauge meter. Once you have 1000 SP, you can cast the ultimate skill.

In Astral Tale, orange and gold equipment have two identical sets with different attributes. For the upper body (head and body), you can choose between +HP or dodge. Senshi and Star Upgrade

In Astral Tale, Senshi are the companions that aid you in combat. Senshi has star number bonuses (1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars, 4 stars) and its own attributes (attack, defense, critical hit, blood volume, etc.). You can upgrade stars by placing Senshi in your hut and completing daily Senshi missions. After completing the mission, you'll get a bond value, which you can exchange for a Senshi package. Extract the Senshi book from the package to upgrade stars.

For new players, it's suggested to slowly raise the stars of Senshi given by the system to 3 stars and upgrade them to the player's level. This helps improve player attributes. While the Senshi you can get from the mall might be stronger, they are also costly. It's not recommended for beginners to immediately draw Protoss from the mall. The star bonus makes a significant difference. Ensure you have at least 3 stars for Senshi, and duplicates or PVP can greatly enhance them.

In the game, many dungeons have hidden bosses known as star spirits, such as in the Illusion Dungeon Claire. When playing a dungeon, you may encounter them, and there's a chance they drop a Senshi book. Collecting 10 books grants you the Senshi. Slowly aim for these as your goal in the game.

Enhancement in Astral Tale 

In the game, equipment enhancement has a maximum of +50. Enhancing from +1 to +20 can be done through dungeons or monsters, and there's a chance of getting starlight treasure chests. For +30 to +50, high-end enhancement scrolls need to be purchased through the mall.

Enhancement Strategy for Low-Levels

During the low-level period, focus on enhancing the whole body to +20 and clear more Forbidden Workshops. If there's no one to lead the group, click the green flag next to the mini-map, select the Forbidden Workshop, and start a group. 

Find a place with a concentration of monsters in the wild to farm them. Players level 65 and above can aim for +30 or even +50. Try participating in the desert battlefield's 3-star must-pass rolls at 8 o'clock every night. Using +20 to +30 must-pass rolls every three runs can earn you a free one, so save them slowly.

Other Ways to Obtain Enhancements

Clear more of the training ground, Mumumu, and other dungeons, the central continent’s glowing blocks known as Adventures, the brigade donation box, and daily tasks on each map (blue exclamation mark). These activities provide coupons that you can exchange for high-level enhancement coupons at the Shop. 

Additionally, training clones through the mainline quests, like 18, 28, 38, 48, and 58, will reward you with 3 high-level enhancements each time. Place the equipment in the bank's shared warehouse, open a clone to enhance it, and repeat the process. While effective, this method may become repetitive over time.

Daily Tasks and Missions

Apart from regular dungeons in Astral Tale, make sure to complete frontline tasks, adventure encounters with Protoss, and Protoss missions. Frontline tasks, especially those in the Death Rainforest and BattleFront at the Great Catastrophe Ruins with blue exclamation marks, are crucial. 

They offer varied experiences based on levels, brigade contribution, and items that can be exchanged with supply officers. Frontline missions are also an excellent way to practice different professions.

Don't give up easily—try various methods, and different professions may have unexpected effects. For novices without gold, it's not recommended to play melee combat initially, as long-range characters have advantages in dodging and dealing with monsters.

Use Auto Potion
