Wuthering Waves: All 18 Characters Explained – A Brief Overview for All the Characters

A post-apocalyptic world is literally waiting for you there with an open-world exploration of it, and we call it the Wuthering Waves. It is the next hit-action RPG game that you can all enjoy through your mobiles, and you, being the Rover, will have an adventure taking on within an unknown place, trying your best to solve the mysteries of that world. But first of all, what characters are there to back you up?

So far, 18 characters have been revealed by the Kuro Game in Wuthering Waves, and each has different unique traits as well as performances. So today, we are going to have a look into all the characters in brief as it can help your adventure and exploration to become easier as a newbie. Rover

The starting character of Wuthering Waves is Rover, and we can choose it from both male Rover and female Rover options. This is a 5-star character coming from the Spectro element, and both genders are wielding a sword as their weapon. Their skills are as follows.

• Shape the Sound – this skill can launch a Spectro damage against the enemies with four consecutive attacks

• Echoing Slashes – and here we have a forward attack with the same Spectro damage.

• Echoing Resonance – This skill allows Rover to collect Spectro energy and launch an attack on the targeted area. It creates an explosion quickly by establishing heavy Spectro damage.

Jianxin

Jainxin is a 5-star character from the Wuthering Waves game, and this character belongs to the Aero element. As for her weapon, Jianxin uses Gauntlets and is capable of launching powerful attacks using her element. The list of skills that this character has within the game are:

• Fengyiquan – uses the Aero element to launch an Aero damage and will attack the enemies for up to 4 attacks.

• Calming Air – this skill will make Jianxin immune to the attack damage and will also enable this character to launch Aero Counter, which is capable of launching an Aero damage.

• Purification Force Field – This skill will allow Jianxin to create a powerful wind field and then launch aero damage on the enemies within the current range.

Lingyang

Another 5-star character from Wuthering Waves is here who belongs to the Glacio element, and the weapons that he uses are the Gauntlets. The skills of this character are:

• Majestic Fists – Lingyang can attack up to five times against the enemies, and it will cause Glacio damage against them.

• Ancient Arts – this skill allows this hero to launch attacks with Glacio damage, and with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th basic attacks he launches, the Ancient Arts is going to be switched into the Swift Punches as the resonance skill. But please note that this isn’t going to interrupt the character’s basic attack cycle.

• Strive: Lion’s Vigor – with this skill, Lingyang can launch a Glacio damage which allows him to have a Lions Vigor blessing. It will last for over 14 seconds on the battlefield.

Calcharo

Calcharo from the Wuthering Waves tier list is using the Broadblade weapons, and he will be featured from the Electro element. As a five-star character, his skills are going to be broken down into the game as follows.

• Hounds Gnaw – Calcharo can launch electro damage by launching up to 4 attacks against the enemies here.

• Extermination Order – this skill allows this character to swing his broad blade, and with that, he can attack the targets by making them suffer from electro damage. You have the ability to cast this skill three times within a single row with 10 seconds of a cool down in it.

• Mirage Etching – Here, Calcharo is capable of launching electro damage for all the targets around him, and this will last for over 10 seconds.

Yuanwu

Our 4-star rarity characters in Wuthering Waves are going to start with Yuanwu, who comes from the electro element. Weapon-wise, he will use gauntlets, and the skill sets that he holds are as follows.

• Leihuangquan – this skill will have immense strength as well as a power that can launch electro damage with five attacks continuously

• Leihunang Master – this is the skill that allows you to summon a Thunder Wedge for Yuanwu, and it also launches heavy electro damage with a thunder pool, which will last for over 12 seconds.

• Concealed Edge – this will allow Taoqi to swing her blade for four continuous attacks, and all these attacks will launch Havoc damage against the enemies.

• Glacial Gaze – Sanhua will launch a Glacio damage here, and together with that, she will form a Glacier, and it will last for over 5 seconds in the field.

Mortefi

Mortefi, who uses pistols as his weapon, is from the 4-star rarity in Wuthering Waves  and belongs to the Fusion element. He basically turns his rage into an immense power, and following skills makes him perform harder through the gameplay.

• Impromptu Performance – this skill makes Mortefi use his guns and launch four attacks at once with fire, and all these attacks are packed up with a fusion damage

• Passionate Variation – we can see a high-speed flame lightning with this skill, which is also going to launch a fusion damage against the enemies here.

• Violent Finale – this skill adds a Floating Wing Frenzy, and it is applicable for all the members of your team. Causing fusion damage, this attack is going to be there for over 15 seconds.

Danjin

Danjin from Wuthering Waves is here as a 4-star Havoc character who wields a sword against the enemies. She comes to the game as a part of the midnight rangers, and despite that, her skills are making her power up as follows.

• Wield the Blade – this skill allows Danjin to launch three attacks at once, and this will be done based on the Flying Flowers and Falling Leaves called ancient manual. With that, she will be able to launch havoc damage against her enemies.

• Incinerating Will – here, you will see that it takes up to 3% of Danjin’s maximum health with Zhu Hua Can Zhang’s launching damage.

• Crimson Bloom – this is a skill that will launch consecutive attacks at the enemies with dual blades, and those are going to launch havoc damage.

Chixia

Chixia in Wuthering Waves will be featured with pistols as her weapon, and as a fusion character, she will belong to the 4-star rarity. More than that, she got great enthusiasm within the gameplay, and her skills are going to be distributed within the game as follows.

• POW POW – this skill allows Chixia to launch four attacks at once with a fusion damage

Baizhi

Rover

A five-star character with the sword as his weapon is here named Rover, and he is a Spectro hero. Unlike the other heroes, this character can absorb any kind of sound, and that is why he is making it into a special power in this Wuthering Waves gameplay. The skill set of this character is:

• Shaper the Sound – with this skill. Rover can launch four attacks at once with a Spectro damage

• Botany Experiment – this skill allows Verina to grow plants quickly by collecting energy, and it also launches a Spectro damage within the range

• Arboreal Flourish Healing Amount – the surrounding vegetation is going to be promoted to have quick growth by this skill, and they can restore the health of your nearby allies in a team. While launching a Spectro damage, it also marks the targets who have been hit with a photosynthesis mark.

• Echoing Feather – if you see there are three echoes with Yangyang, this skill makes her have a heavy attack against the enemies, which can also trigger a wind raid and eventually make enemies suffer from aero damage.

Aalto h2

As a four-star resonator, Aalto can use pistols to hurt his enemies from being in the Aero attribute, and this is one of the characters who have unpredictable behavior. However, he can attack the enemies in the Wuthering Waves game by using the following skills.

• Half Truths – this skill makes five shots at once to launch an aero damage. A mist will be spread into the forward direction with the 4th shot here, and it is going to last for over 1.5 seconds.

• Shift Trick – we have a skill to create a Mist avatar and a Mist by this skill, and it is going to taunt all the enemies who are surrounding you. Aalto uses this skill with the avatar, who got a bit of his health, and this avatar can also create six mist bullets along with aero damage.

• Flower in the Mist – a Gate of Quandary will be created here, and the attacks are going to be increased whenever there are bullets passing by this gate. This effect will last for over 10 seconds.

Jiyan

The final character in the Wuthering Waves is Jiyan, a general to all the midnight rangers; he comes from the five star rarity aero character. He is using a broad blade as his weapon, and his skills are as follows.

• Lone Lance – this skill allows Jiyan to launch five attacks at once with an aero damage

• Windqueller – this is a skill that launches aero damage by dashing through the air.

• Emerald Storm: Prologue – with this skill, you can see Jiyan will enter the Qinloong mode after the Emerald Storm: Prologue has been cast, and whenever he is in this mode, Jiyan can cast Lance of Qinloong as his basis and heavy attacks
