CadShot Mobile by Autometrix provides a simple method for converting paper or fabric patterns into CAD patterns using your Android Phone or Tablet. In a quick 30-second process, the app captures a photo of your pattern and corrects for skew and lens distortion.

Once these corrections are made, the optimized photo is then sent to your desktop computer where the CadShot desktop software precisely identifies and outlines the pattern's edges, holes, and notches. The photo, including a polyline perimeter, can then be exported into multiple file formats for further refining. Whether you use PatternSmith or other CAD software for editing, CadShot Mobile offers a simple and efficient transition from analog to digital, ensuring accurate pattern conversion for your design needs.
