Al-Zein Muhammad Ahmad Al-Zein is a Sudanese reciter, born in 1982 in North Kordofan State, Umm Dam village, Al-Bunya village. In the year 2003 AD, Sheikh Al-Zein memorized the Noble Qur’an at the hands of Sheikh Hassan Hamed and Sheikh Ahmed Babiker “Hamdan”.
He was born in al-Bunya in Umm Dam locality, North Kordofan state, in July 1982 AD, and he grew up in a religious house. His grandfather al-Faki al-Zayn, who was named after him, was a jurist, pious, memorizer, and worshiper of the Book of God. He studied the primary stage at Al-Bunya Asas School, and then went to study in a retreat to memorize the Qur’an in a retreat (Kharsi) in the locality of Bara. He began memorizing the Qur’an there at the age of ten and a half years at the hands of Sheikh Hassan Hamed and Sheikh Ahmed Babiker, and he sealed the Qur’an for memorization and recitation at the age of 17 according to the two narrations of Al-Duri and Hafs. Then he studied at the Scientific Institute and then joined the University of the Holy Quran and graduated from it.
In the year 2001 AD, through his cousin (Sheikh Al-Hadi Tijani, the imam of the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in Bahri), he was nominated among several sheikhs to lead the mosque of Sayyida Sanhouri and was chosen.
The mosque is intended for thousands of worshipers from the three cities of the capital (Khartoum - Khartoum North - Omdurman) to perform the Tarawih prayers and the Tahajjud to purify the soul with the spiritual recitation of the imam of the mosque, Sheikh Al-Zain Muhammad Ahmed, despite the establishment of the two prayers in most of the capital's mosques, which exceed a thousand mosques.
