When they returned to Mecca, they asked the Prophet - peace and blessings be upon him - the three questions, so the Prophet told them that he would answer them tomorrow, but he did not say, God willing. Then the revelation was delayed, as a reproach from God Almighty to the Prophet, and the infidels of Quraysh thought that the Prophet - peace and blessings be upon him - was a pretender and not truthful, and he - peace and blessings be upon him - was deeply saddened and his soul was distressed, until God Almighty revealed, through Gabriel - peace be upon him - a response with verses from Surah Al-Kahf in the words of God Almighty: (We relate to you their news with the truth.
