A non-profit organization (NPO) is an organization that does not have profit making as the main goal of its activity. Non-profit organizations can be created to achieve social, charitable, cultural, educational, political, scientific and managerial goals, in the spheres of health protection of citizens, development of physical culture and sports, satisfaction of spiritual and other intangible needs of citizens, protection of rights, legal interests of citizens and organizations, resolving disputes and conflicts, providing legal assistance, as well as for other purposes aimed at achieving public goods. Non-profit organizations have the right to engage in entrepreneurial activity only if this activity is aimed at achieving the goals of the organization.
