With the GVB mobile app, changing contracts for GVB Gera subscribers is child's play - activate your own data in the app with the import function, subscribe to Deutschlandticket and the contract change will be done automatically.
The Deutschlandticket is a personal, non-transferable monthly subscription without a take-along rule. It always applies to the entire month; regardless of the date of purchase. It entitles you to travel in local and regional traffic in 2nd class throughout Germany.
