For things where the expiration date is important, like medicines, subscriptions, contracts or groceries, you can specify an expiry date for items in the app. You will then be notified when the time comes. In addition, this article is noted in the shopping list.

Then specify the current amount and the minimum amount you always want available in the app. The app will then notify you when the amount limit has been reached.
