Menjadi Makmum Masbuq Description

Become Makmum Masbuq
The popular definition of makmum masbuk is those who miss several cycles of prayer or all of their cycles. And indeed some scholars have defined it that way. For example, what we can read in the books of the Hanafi madhhab scholars.
However, in fact, if we read other books, especially in the Shafi'i school of thought, it turns out that when we express the term masbuk, we cannot always understand it as a makmum whose raka'at is left behind. Precisely if it is understood that way, it will be a wrong understanding.
As an example of what Imam An Nawawi wrote below:
"A drunken person should not keep himself busy by doing sunnah prayers after he has taken takbiratul ihram. However, it is enough to read Al-Fatihah's letter. Unless he's sure he can catch up.
Masbuk in Al Minhaj's Al Minhaj by Imam Nawawi above, it would be wrong if we understood it as being left behind in rak'ahs. Because there is a sentence he stated, unless he is sure he can catch up with Al Fatihah which of course is not only understood to be able to catch up with the harmonious Al Fatihah but also carry out sunnahs such as reading iftitah prayers and ta'awudz for example. Even though people who are able to do that all up to Al Fatihah are not considered left behind raka'at. But Imam Nawawi still calls it masbuk.
So the term masbuk, if we look at it in the books of the Shafi'i school of thought, can include those who are 'only' left with takbiratul ihram. And indeed there are various conditions for a person who is referred to as a masbuk in the Imam Shafi'i school of thought.
