NaCCED Smart Voters App Description
The National Council for Civic Education and Development has the responsibility to educate citizens about their rights, roles and responsibilities to the nation.
One of these said rights, roles and responsibilities is voting for their candidates of choice in a peaceful and educated manner.
Past elections have had situations with lots of invalid votes especially caused by poorly educated voters (most of whom are first-time voters).
We hope to reach out to all citizens, but this is quite an impossible task. Nevertheless, a Council that believes in the promise held by technology, we created this Android App where individuals and Communities could practice voting in a simulated environment.
Citizens could furthermore learn about how to vote, the district block system and what to do to avoid violence during elections.
