Noreen Mohammad Siddiq, born in 1982 in Farajab, Sudan, grew up in a spiritual environment and developed a passion for studying Islam from an early age. Noreen Mohammad enrolled in the Khalwa school in Khorsi in 1998, where he was blessed to become a student of Sheikh Makki, a prominent Sudanese scholar. After graduating, Noreen Mohammad Siddiq continued her Islamic studies in Khorsi for 20 years, constantly seeking education from various disciples. Later, Noreen Mohammad Siddiq became a disciple of Sheikh Makki in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan.
At the age of 17, noreen Mohammad Siddiq achieved a remarkable feat by memorizing the Quran according to the qira'at of Al-Douri 'an Abi 'Amr and Hafs. Noreen Mohammad Siddiq then continued his studies at the Islamic University of the Holy Quran, where he graduated. His exceptional talent in Quran recitation led him to participate in several international competitions, where he shone and achieved remarkable results.
Noreen Mohammad Siddiq has also used social media to share her Quran recitations, gaining increasing popularity among followers of Islam across the world. Sadly, on November 7, 2020, Noreen Mohammad Siddiq lost his life in a car accident in Khartoum, at the age of 38. The accident also led to the disappearance of three other Quran reciters, Ali Yaqoub, Abdullah Awad Al-Karim and Muhannad Al-Kinani, while a fourth reciter, Sayed bin Omar, was injured. The tragedy sparked an outpouring of tributes and condolences on social media, testifying to the positive impact Noreen Mohammad Siddiq had on people's hearts and minds through her inspiring recitation of the Quran.
His untimely death was a tragic loss for the Muslim community. Siddiq leaves behind a legacy of inspiring Quran recitation that touches people's hearts and minds.
