About Ram Bhagwan:

Lord Rama, often referred to simply as Rama, is a central figure in Hinduism and is considered the seventh avatar of the god Vishnu. He is a revered hero in the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana. The story of Rama is also mentioned in other ancient Hindu scriptures like the Puranas.
According to the Ramayana, Rama is the prince of Ayodhya, born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya. Rama is known for his unwavering devotion to dharma (righteousness) and is often regarded as the ideal man (Maryada Purushottama) in Hindu tradition.
The most famous episode in the Ramayana is the kidnapping of Rama's wife, Sita, by the demon king Ravana. Rama, along with his loyal companion Hanuman and an army of monkeys, fought a great war to rescue Sita and ultimately defeated Ravana.

1. Birth and Early Life: Rama was born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya in Ayodhya. His birth is celebrated as Rama Navami, a major Hindu festival.

2. Marriage to Sita: Rama's marriage to Sita, an incarnation of the goddess Lakshmi, is a central event in the Ramayana. The couple's union is considered an ideal and sacred relationship in Hindu culture.

3. Exile: Rama was exiled from his kingdom for 14 years due to a promise made by his father to one of his queens, Kaikeyi. Rama, accompanied by his wife Sita and loyal brother Lakshmana, spent this period in the forest.

4. Abduction of Sita: Sita was kidnapped by the demon king Ravana during exile. This event leads to the epic war between Rama and Ravana.

5. War against Ravana: Rama, with the help of an army of monkeys led by Hanuman, waged a war against Ravana to rescue Sita. The war is depicted in the latter part of the Ramayana and is known as the Battle of Lanka.

6. Victory and Return to Ayodhya: After defeating Ravana and rescuing Sita, Rama returned to Ayodhya, where he was crowned as the king. The joyous occasion is celebrated as Diwali, the festival of lights.

7. Dharma and Virtue: Rama is often regarded as the embodiment of dharma (righteousness) and is revered for his adherence to moral and ethical principles. His life serves as an example of duty, honor, and sacrifice.

There are many temples dedicated to Lord Rama (Ram Bhagwan) in India and around the world. One of the most famous temples is the Rama Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Rama. The construction and status of this temple have been the subject of historical and political discussions for many years.

In addition to the Rama Janmabhoomi temple, there are numerous other temples dedicated to Lord Rama across India. Some of them are:

1. Bhadrachalam Temple (Telangana)
2. Rameswaram Temple (Tamil Nadu)
3. Janaki Mandir (Nepal)
4. Kodandarama Temple (Hampi, Karnataka)
5. Raghunath Temple (Jammu and Kashmir)
