As individuals who believe, we believe that Allah SWT sent down the Al-Quran to Prophet Muhammad SAW as a guide as well as a guide for human life, in particular, so that they get happiness in this world and the hereafter. So that we can be sure, no one who claims to have faith but then denies the status of the Al-Quran.
Having the status of a guide, of course the Al-Quran which consists of 30 chapters, 114 letters and more than 6200 verses contains divine guidance which every believer uses as a source of reference and reference in carrying out his life activities in this world.
Some are in the form of aqidah or belief, such as verses that talk about the existence of Allah SWT, His majesty, His greatness, His power, and so on. Or talk about unseen unseen matters such as the existence of angels, heaven-hell, the graves, and so on.
There is also guidance in the form of stories from earlier peoples with their prophets and messengers. Starting from the prophet Adam AS to the prophet Isa AS. Their stories told in the Al-Quran are many and full of values of faith and life.
The story of the sorcerers of the Pharaoh king who remained firm in defending his faith when they were all intimidated by him as a form of punishment for taking sides and believing in the prophets Musa AS and Harun AS, this teaches and inspires us how to behave in order to maintain faith, no matter what the risks are.
And there are also guidance in the form of commands and prohibitions that are worth worship. Allah SWT obliges all of his servants to pray 5 times a day, fast in Ramadan, pay zakat, go on pilgrimage, give up gambling, commit adultery, drink intoxicants, consume unclean food, and many more.
This means that the concept of eating and drinking is a form of worship ordered by Allah SWT, in this case it means eating halal food. Many verses explain the command to eat and drink in general or specifically, alias what is consumed must be halal food and drink.
