Wahai Anakku Nasihat Ibn Arabi Description
This Android application is an Explanation About the Meaning of O My Son - The Great Sufi Advice of Ibn Arabi. In PDF format.
While translating this book, I had to stop many times. Not because of finding difficult sentences that I can't translate, but by beautiful sentences full of meaning that 'force' us to be 'stupefied.' There are many sentences of Ibn Arabi that reverse one hundred and eighty degrees of his negative image-which was built at the puritan university earlier-in my mind.
How can people who do not know monotheism say such beautiful sentences. "Give food and drink to beggars, because that action puts you in the position of Allah who always feeds and drinks His servants," or in the sentence, "If Allah takes something from you, nothing else is meant for you to be patient. If you are patient, then He will love you, because He loves those who are patient. If He loves you, He will treat you as a lover treats his lover. Imagine, if you have become God's lover, what else do you still need in this world and in the hereafter Later?
In the end, there is nothing better than just reading the impressions I get and taking these pearls of advice from the great Sufi himself. Happy meditation!
