This APP works as it should, I have a ring camera also so I have that for comparison. Only a couple things I could think of to improve the app. If there was a way to set Customized monitoring functions to Customized time periods, to allow for higher/lower sensitivities and changes to recording length depending on schedule. Second thing is that notifications are a little slow, but I think that's probably the camera's hardware and not the app.
Camera display is excellent. Cloud storage not working. I have the free 3 day storage option and although I receive several notifications throughout the day, there is only ever,at most, one video saved. Sometimes, on going to view videos, several videos appear then instantly scroll up and disappear. No response from developer or o-kam so will probably return the camera. 3 stars is for the display.
Good. Stable so far, and the HD plus smooth continuous zoom features are far superior than the old Eye4 app developed for the same Vstarcam cameras. O-KAM's UI is also clearer and easier to use, because the instructions are written in better English than the weird literal translations from Chinese seen in Eye4. Unfortunately the 2-way audio intercom feature is practically unusable, as the sound quality is very poor despite using fast WiFi. Perhaps the developer could improve the audio codecs.
