I want a refund. I loaded this app to get rid of ads popping up whenever I opened/unlocked my phone. Those have disappeared even though this app found no malware or other problems. But now I can't open a news link without an interminable wait after which it says it can't scan the link. What good is it if it can't scan a link & takes forever to try. This is a paid app, not particularly cheap and seems bloated and difficult to navigate. I will uninstall it after only a few days.
This app is definitely a great experience, it's easy and very informative. The only thing that I would change is the fact that it's not completely free, when you're having issues the last thing you want is something that only partially works unless you have a credit card on standby to allow you to get all access that you need th fix the issue and
I have used AVG for...IDK...20 YEARS? since my ex could not curb his porn addiction and was constantly getting our computer infected with every virus on the planet. Since then, I have used AVG in some form or another (occasionally paid and mostly free) and have NEVER had a problem. The free versions come with their own aggravation of constant ads and popups, but it's a small trade-off for excellent protection.
