My only big gripe with the Canvas app is Zelle won't operate properly in this app. The Canvas app freezes when I try to use Zelle. Smaller gripe, changing settings is a hassle because it takes you back to the beginning after you've made each INDIVIDUAL change. Overall though, the app functions pretty well. I appreciate being able to do mobile deposits from my phone, check my credit score easily, transfer money between my accounts, etc. it's got a pretty good user interface too.
Not being able to turn off two factor authentication on the mobile app is a major pain. It takes extra time that I may not have to log in to my accounts. Bill pay is a lot more confusing. The old app was much better. The only positive to this one is the snapshot feature but I'd gladly lose that if I could go back to the old app. Newer isn't always better!!!
Some functions of the new app are less helpful, such as the alerts. I get sent an alert, but it has no useful info, like which account, so I have to log in and check all accounts. This feature was better on the previous version. Also, there is a delay as to when the notice of account activity gets pushed out. Can be up to several hours or days. Not helpful!
