The update is extremely frustrating. There was no notification that an update was happening and when we needed to track a kid, it wouldn't work because everyone needed an update. Additionally, I have nonstop location search updates on my phone. If I turn off notifications for the app, I won't get any notices. The location search should be a background function. Long time user of the app, but very frustrated with this update roll out. Considering abandoning the app.
The new update is horrible. Even though I wouldn't have exact location with the previous version it always with a range I had a general idea where my kids were at. Now one child's phone won't track at all (even though we have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times) the other child's phone tells me they are active as soon as they pick up their phone. Both phones are set up exactly the same. Really frustrating for teenage drivers.
The new update has some bugs. It keeps telling me that I need to allow permissions but u actually allowed all the permissions, turned them off and back on, and it still says the same thing. The home screen says location settings need to be set but when I open the notification by pressing the fix button it says push notifications are disabled. Both are on, and precise location is on. Very frustrating. Thinking of canceling service.
