So, I thought it was just my phone until I read the reviews after purchasing data I didn't need. I have come to the conclusion that this app just sucks. This app takes forever to upload documents only to have it disappear. I have lost very important and memorable photos that can not be replaced. I have cleaned my phone, purchased more storage, reset my phone, and nothing has changed. It seems to me that every new update becomes more of a headache. PLEASE DO BETTER! THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!
After 5 years it STILL has the aggravating bug when you zoom into a photo that hasn't fully loaded it snaps the zoom level back to 100 percent. No. It should stay where it is and display a loading indicator, not make people zoom again and again and guess. This makes someone I know so angry they throw their phone. I'm absolutely sick and tired of family members and friends constantly complaining to me for your incompetent UX every time I share photos. I'm close to canceling and going to onedrive.
I've noticed that document scans tend to be consistently blurry, particularly towards the sides. The quality is acceptable in the middle. I've experimented by adjusting the distance and zoom levels, ruling out issues with the telephoto lens. Despite my efforts, the images remain blurry, with what appears to be a shadow around the characters. I've noticed this on Pixel 7 and Oneplus 9. How is it a device specific issue, when multiple devices are giving the same result.
