I got the subscription for the VPN and it doesn't work. I've tried to use it on my Pixel and Chromebook and once the VPN is on, no internet access. I did my own troubleshooting; turned my device on and off again; uninstalled the app and reinstalled it; messed around with the settings, etc. It doesn't matter if I'm at home, work, or the go, it doesn't work. I finally chatted with customer service. What a waste of my time!! If you need the storage, sure sign up. But be warned, the VPN is a joke.
The VPN has never successfully started on any Windows 10 or 11 PC I've installed the package on. In addition, I have trouble maintaining connectivity through the VPN when using it on my Android devices (all running Android 13 or above). The support services provided with Google One membership are essentially useless, as only the most basic are provided and pale in comparison to the knowledge and skills possessed by the average experienced user.
Sadly, i have to rate low because the vpn benefit i supposedly have as a member does not connect. If it does, it's for a few seconds and then disconnects. There are no troubleshooting tips, no error messages, nothing! Now, if ANYBODY could let me know if they experience the same and can tell me how to fix it, maybe I'll consider hanging around, but at this point, MS defender is much more reliable
