The app overall is great, however.. When I use it in split screen mode (a.i. half screen Kinomap struct. workout and half youtube) and I try to either resize the screen share of the app , either flip the phone, all the recorded content until then (minutes, meters, a.s.o) for the current workout are gone. 0. nothing. I find this very disturbing.
Kinomap has a lot of advantages over competitors and is the best option among its competitors. But the new app updates have made the app effectively unusable as of Feb. 2024. Filtering and sorting does not work, so it is very hard to find rides, and most settings are reset to default when closing the app, including training preferences and notification permissions.
This app use to be great. I downgraded to 3.9.7 because the new updates made scheduling horrible. I have my timezones set correctly but have to set the calendar for a day later then I plan on riding. example: I want to schedule a ride for Friday at 6 am. I have to set the schedule to Sat at 6 am. Sometimes this becomes 6pm though. On the new versions I can't edit a scheduled event or delete it. Also in the new version I have my units set to imperial but all filters are still in metric.
