Update: Still no dark mode but there are ads on the homepage now. Usually it works ok, with some occasional connectivity issues. But, without dark mode, it blinds you if you want to use it at night. Also, it definitely tells the police when you're using your phone. Also, the home page will say there's something new to read but the appropriate section is never marked, so you can't figure out what the app wants you to see. It will blind you!
The app was working just fine until an update took away my ability to mute notifications for 2 hours. If my husband is working in the garage, I'll get person and movement notifications every few seconds. It's annoying and something I used to be able to mute temporarily. Also, the notifications are delayed by a few minutes. This can be scary when I'm home by myself, get a notification that a person is detected, but then realize it was me coming home 5 minutes earlier.
Hardware is great. Works with garage door opener just fine. Software is minimal and lacks several key features, such as home screen shortcut/widget or real smart home integration. Documentation is almost completely lacking because if the advertised features exist there is not an explanation on how to set it up or any clear settings
