You have to re-open the book you're reading every time you leave the app, and just hope it remembers what page you were on, because it often will not. Attempting to look at key terms continuously crashes the app instead of bringing you to the term definition -- and the app doesn't remember the page you were looking at that contained the key term, so you have to manually navigate back to the page and try again, only to inevitably repeat this cycle over and over again without success.
Feel like no caring given for UX at all. One example: swiping to turn pages does not really work as expected, it ruins the whole experience. Just check the Amazon kindle app once and you'll learn what good UX should be like for an e-reader app. And due to 4 month locked-in subscription for the book I selected, I cannot stop paying even though I'm not using this anymore. Planning to buy the same or a similar book on the kindle later.
Hi Guys! Am from Pakistan, I was just having zero Knowledge about Biology and I just started to see some videos and you can't believe the tutor was teaching it in just a simple way and making such difficult topics looks so easy. I was just amazed. I took proper benefit from it. But after 18 days videos stoped and asking for upgrade. But, I am unable to pay. I'm just a knowledge seeker but I can't afford even a single penny. I will suggest if you can afford it then go for it. Thank You Pearson.
