This app is so bad. Even if I take a clear photo it will always say the photo is too blurry. It's not just that. The camera will 80% always be blurry. It won't take a good picture. There's like only 20% chance your camera will turn clear.
Not very accurate for fish in Australia. Not sure what it's like for other countries, but it has very rarely identified the species correctly for me. Great idea and good UI just not accurate.
I don't usually give a 1 star, because I understand the programmer's effort but this app just doesn't work. I installed it and took pictures of some bass from the web, where I made sure that the fish was isolated from the background and the app returned a suggestion that one picture was of a Bay Pipefish, which is more like an eel, and the second one was "identified" as a Humphead Wrasse, which is nothing like a bass. Install it yourself and give it a try. For me it just completely did not work. I'll be happy to revisit this review once the app is improved. The idea is good. The app just doesn't seem to work.
