We used the to and from Hana guide. It was really helpful knowing when and where to stop. It was also nice to know about each area so we could make an educated decision on continuing, or stopping to experience something. Thank you for the help! I would appreciate different music, or a way to turn the music off inbetween events as that got very repetitive. I wasn't sure if the pause button would also pause the events coming up, so I didn't for safety reasons.
This is an excellent tour guide which you play as you navigate the Road to Hana. Its very informative and gives you many waypoints that you can choose to stop at or ignore as you drive. One thing I noticed is it really drains the battery on your phone, even with the in vehicle charging, so take heed and if you dont need the map, just listen to the voice navigation, which is GPS based and very accurate.
This app helps so much! It provides music for a few in between moments, great stories and history and the BEST helpful tool: it teaches you the driving etiquette of Hana. Figuring that out by trial and error would have made us look, or at least feel, like fools! Even if I go again, with the knowledge already, I would still use it to know when to pull over for certain spots.
