Call of Duty Mobile is a free-to-play first-person perspective shooting game. CoD Mobile is developed by a renowned mobile game development company Tencent and published by Activision. Its gameplay performance relies heavily on FPS, so a high-performance mobile device is recommended. A common misconception is that high-performance mobile devices will improve your gaming skills over time, but you need to understand your weapon with each built and practice with these built to reach the top tier and fight head-on to carry your team. You can also play this game on PC with the support of playing with a mouse and keyboard.
This article will provide you with all you need to know about the weapon HG 40 in Call of Duty Mobile so you can read it and go after your opponents better than ever. We have a wide range of complete guides available to read and further improve your gaming skills.
CoD Mobile offers the HG 40, a fully automated SMG. It has a medium fire rate and recoil, and it works best at close to medium range. The HG 40 mimics the iconic MP40 in appearance. In actuality, it's a modernized version of the MP40 from the Call of Duty franchise's prior iterations.
The HG 40 delivers less damage compared to assault rifles in close to mid-range and shoots slower than other submachine guns in the game. However, the extended range and lack of recoil compensate for the drawbacks. It's a good option for large maps. A time back, the HG 40 received a boost that increased its fire spread. You can read about our other SMG guides as of QQ9, Cordite, and MX-9 to better understand how SMGs work and make the comparison yourself.
There was a time when HG-40 was one of the best SMGs in the game. It was so overpowered that it was broken. Eventually, they had to nerf it down to make it on par with other guns.
Here are the HG 40's stats in CoD Mobile when no attachments are added:

The mobility comes from the fact that this gun is so light that you almost feel like you're holding a pistol and moving around easily on the map.
For a submachine gun, the gun's damage and fire rate are poor, putting it at a significant disadvantage when compared against other submachine guns. Due to the great long-range damage and lack of recoil, the rifle may inflict lethal damage at mid to longer ranges. With such long-range efficacy, it's a great pick for large maps with many mid-to-long-range combat.
We have a range of loadouts for you wrote below so you could dominate in the game depending on what role you are looking for to play. Feel free to read our Extensive Loadout guide for the most important guns for complete information and comparison.
This HG 40 loadout focuses on close-range aggression and is best suited to the Slayer style.
Perks:
This loadout is the number one choice for the aggressive style is to equip this Perk combination. When closing in on opponents, it slows down ADS and conceals your footsteps.
You can also use the following for mobility which is important in BR mode as there is a lot of ground to cover, and with Dead Silence, you can approach them without making any sound.
For a subtle approach, the HG 40 construction is ideal. It will eliminate all gun noise, provide great accuracy, good recoil control, and a quick ADS speed.
Perks:
This is a well-balanced HG40 build. It isn't especially good at anything, but it can do everything.
Perks:
In COD Mobile, Battle Royale is a popular game mode. The gun's utility is prioritized in this mode with this HG 40 can deliver fatal damage at range thanks to its high damage at long range and low recoil. Its hip fire dispersion was improved in Season 11, making it more adaptable in close-range combat. You may discover uncommon and Rare blueprints for the gun on the ground, but the Legendary variation is only found in Airdrops on rare occasions.
It features a quiet gun sound, low recoil and may be used at great ranges. Please keep in mind that you cannot use Perks in the BR game mode.
This is the Pro build, and you will feel the difference when you use this; the following are the attachments for this build:
The main reason for using the Muzzle Suppressor here is the Ninja gameplay; even though it might reduce your ADS time, mind over matter, guys, your opponents won't know what hit them.
The Marksman Barrel attachment will buff up your bullet spread accuracy, buff up the damage range, and even more due to pairing up with Monolithic Suppressor. This is like the Duo attachment combo to make you win-wins.
Next is the rubberized Grip Tape, simply to reduce the vertical recoil down as much as possible.
The final thing that is really important for this build is not attaching any stock as the stock was useless for this build and didn't give any noticeable difference here for the pro build, and without it, it makes the gun insanely fast.
HG 40 is a veteran gun and is one of the first guns Call of Duty introduced; that is why there are many skins available for it, with many having unique features.

HG 40 has a history to its name and has been in CoD for a long time. The biggest advantage of HG 40 has almost zero recoils and can be adapted for many scenarios;. However, it does not excel at a single particular task but is still a reliable gun that has well-balanced stats.
HG 40 can be equipped with damaging loadouts, and no stat decreases noticeably; it can be used with stealth and bring toughness in the MP matches. We highly expect MG 40 to get its glory back with some buff as recently CoD has nerfed a few guns which excelled a single task.
Feel free to practice on this gun with a wide variety of combinations that it can be equipped with; we highly encourage you to give it a thorough experiment as it will come in handy someday to become the CoD’s Best Player.
