What is Captain Tsubasa: Ace?

Captain Tsubasa: Ace is a new Gacha Football Game (similar to Fifa) where players are tasked with creating a team and participating in numerous matches. Although the concept may seem simple, each player will have different elements (Technique, Strength, Speed & Tenacity) and classes (Forwards - FW, Midfielders - MF, Defenders - DF & GoalKeeper - GK). Furthermore, each character will have various statistics that will make them stronger or weaker depending on the opponents and stages they face. To add to the fun and draw inspiration from the fantastic episodes of Captain Tsubasa, each player will have special skills. Some can unleash powerful shots, while others can make perfect passes, have impenetrable defenses, and many other special abilities. Moreover, there are numerous ways to enhance our characters, such as the Potential Special Training stages, which help level up our characters, the Versatile Tactics stages, which drop new cards (equipment) for our characters, the Champion Road for relieving Tsubasa's adventures and earning great rewards, the Dream League, a PvP content to compete against other players, and many upcoming events! Passionate Journey

The “Passionate Journey” is our personal adventure to become the best coaches and lead our team to win the championship. By tackling various stages, we can earn rich rewards, such as Exp Items, New Tactics, New Characters, and Character Fragments to enhance skills and much more. Additionally, by completing each stage while meeting the specified prerequisites, we will obtain additional rewards and increase the number of fans supporting us (Idle Rewards).

Potential Special Training

The “Potential Special Training” is the Daily content that will be necessary to advance all your Characters in Breakthrough. There’s 4 different special training:

Burning Force

• In this stage you will be able to obtain a Mark of Strength.

Jade Technique

• In this stage you will be able to obtain a Mark of Technique.

Blistering Speed

• In this stage you will be able to obtain a Mark of Speed.

Rock Solid

• In this stage you will be able to obtain a Mark of Tenacity.

Depending on the stage difficulty, you can obtain Mark of different Rarity, from level I to level IV.

Versatile Tactics

The "Versatile Tactics" game content allows us to obtain new tactics to enhance our characters to the fullest. Depending on the stages we complete, we can earn different rewards:

Explosive Attacker

• In these stages, we can obtain tactics with the following main stats: Shoot, Shoot on Sight, Dribble, Short Pass, Long Pass, Ball Protection, Bounce & Reaction

Steel Defence

• In these stages, we can obtain tactics with the following main stats: Save, Tackle, Slide Tackle, Interception, Block & Prediction

All-Round Team

• In these stages, we can obtain tactics based on the character's class: Speed, Technique, Strength & Tenacity

To obtain tactics of higher rarity, one must face increasingly challenging stages. The higher the difficulty of the stages, the greater the chance of obtaining higher-grade tactics (Ordinary, Normal, Rare, Legendary).

Dream League

The “Dream League” is the PvP Content of the game. In this game mode you can fight other players' Team (Controlled by AI) and try to win matches to increase your Rank. To participate in Dream League matches you are required Energy that will regenerate by time. Reaching high Rank will give a lot of rewards such as Dream Rally Voucher, Glorious Journey Voucher and Dream Bounty (PvP Shop Currency). You will also obtain Weekly Rewards based on your Rank. 

Characters & Tactics

Characters

Every “Character” in Captain Tsubasa: Ace must be well-trained and strengthened to be able to participate in matches and give their best. Let's see how we can best enhance our players and make our team ready for every game:

Elements

• Technique = Nimble Dribbles and efficient support. 

Has more Agility, quicker turning and can trigger passive Dribble in any situation. 

For some characters, every time passive Drille is triggered by their charging Skill, a bonus to the subsequent passes or shots will be granted. 

For some Characters successful Dribble Skill refreshes CDs but increases stamina cost.

• Strength = Strong ball protection and Physical Confrontation.

Begins to shield or step on the ball in the face of a tackle or slide tackle while dribbling at low speed. 

A Successful tackle robs an opponent's stamina and causes Control Loss.

• Speed = High-speed movement and deadly strike.

Faster movement Speed

Some characters gain a “Killing Blow” effect, which increases the speed bonus of the Skill by 15% if a skill is not interrupted while being charged.

Tackle & Slide Tackle skills have a longer range.

Trigger passive dribble skills when moving at high speed.

• Tenacity = Shorted control loss duration and great persistence.

Shorter Control Loss duration upon a failed dribble confrontation with a certain chance of not being downed. also immediately refreshes the Tackle and Slide Tackle Skills

Tackle and Slide Tackle have a two-stage effect: Receiving a pass from a teammate has a 50% chance of adding a stack of Responsiveness.

Classes

• Forwards (FW): The Forwards have the main objective of scoring goals.

• Midfielders (MF): Midfielders play various roles, assisting the defense, ensuring the opposing team doesn't reach their goal, passing the ball to the Forwards, and making their way to the opposing team's goal.

• Defenders (DF): Defenders do everything they can to prevent the ball from getting past them.

• Goalkeeper (GK): The only player who can touch the ball with their hands. Their sole purpose is to keep the ball from entering the net.

Training

• With Training you can improve your Character level by consuming Exp Material. Once you reach the max level for current breakthrough, you need to improve your Character before being able to reach a higher level.

Potential Breakthrough

• When you reach Max Level for current Star Rank, you need to consume a different Mark (based on Character Element) and complete a Potential Breakthrough. Completing a Breakthrough will increase the level cap of your Character. 

Skills

• Every Character with a Rarity of SR or SSR possesses different Skills. To improve a Character Skill you require to summon Dupes. You will be able to unlock more skills are your Character Potential Breakthrough increase (Example: You will unlock new skill at 2/3/5 Stars)

Tactics

The "Tactics" are another fundamental aspect to enhance the available characters to the fullest. Tactics are our equipment. There are different types of tactics, and like characters, these too can be leveled up and strengthened:

FW Tactics

• The Best tactics for FW Characters are “Shooting Machine”, “Shoot on Sight Expert” and “Unstoppable Speed”.

MF Tactics

• The Best Tactics for MF Characters are “Brilliant Short pass”, “Long Pass Control” and “Master of Technique”

DF Tactics

• The Best Tactics for MF Characters are “Ball Possession”,  “Brilliant Short Pass” and “Tactical Refinement”

GK Tactics

• The Best Tactics for GK Characters are “Movement Anticipation” and “Indestructible Object”

Level Up

• You can increase your Tactics Equipment level by consuming unused Tactics cards as fodders.
