Dragon Nest 2: Evolution - Game Review & Gacha Rates

The story starts when Desmodeus Tasked Althea and Vestinel with creating worlds to find the suitable mortal. Althea crafted the vibrant world of Verathea, home to dragons, ancients, elves, and humans. Meanwhile, Vestinel shaped a dark and ruthless world, distinct from her sister's creation. Jealous of Althea's favored status and angry at her father's reaction to their worlds, Vestinel resorted to a sinister act. She poisoned Althea with a venom infused with her dark essence, causing her sister to fall into a deep and nightmarish sleep. As Althea's life hung in the balance, Vestinel's malevolence began to seep into Verathea. The elves began to die due to the corruption, and the ancients were deeply affected, their souls growing discontented and desiring god-like power. Their reckless attempt to manipulate the Monolith, the heart of Verathea, caused it to explode, reshaping the world and leaving a rift connecting it to Vestinel's dark realm. What is Dragon Nest 2: Evolution?

Dragon Nest 2: Evolution is a new MMORPG with Gacha Element. In this game you can choose one of the four classes available at launch to start play (Warrior, Archer, Cleric & Sorceress). Only Cleric actually is not Gender Locked, while prolly all others classes will be unlocked in upcoming updates. Each class also has an advanced class that will be unlocked after reaching level 10. Warriors can become Swordmaster or Mercenary, Archer can become Bowmaster or Ranger , Cleric can become Paladin or Priest and Sorceress can become Elementalist or Force User . There’s also further specialization once you reach a higher level. The game offers a lot of PvE and PvP content, some for Solo Play such as Monster Codex, Wild Boss, Seal Breaker, Glory Arena, Sacred Arena and some content for Team Play, such as Boss Arena, Team Race and Red Moon Fissure. There’s also exclusive Content for Guilds, such as Guild Quests, Guild Party, Guild Boss and Guild Point Conquest. Game Content

Main Story

The “Main Story” game content will guide you into the game for a long time. Completing the Main Story will unlock new places, Dungeons, All game Systems and much more, and will also reward you with Exp, Golds etc. Keep completing the Main Story in the game to unlock all the game content

Forbidden Ground

The “Forbidden Ground” game content is unlocked right after the first minute in the game. This game mode lets you complete Solo Dungeons to collect rewards, such as Character Exp, Gold, Equipment and Appearance Set Items. You will also receive Glazed Amber (Gems) as One Time rewards the first time you complete each stage. After you complete a stage with 3 Stars (Kill all the enemies within a time limit) you can also Raid (Sweep) a stage for immediate rewards consuming Tickets or Glazed Amber.

Seal Breaker

The “Seal Breaker” game content lets you fight up to 43 waves of monsters, each time increasing the difficulty. Every time you complete a Stage, you will be rewarded with random Runes. You can try as many times as you can, but you have to complete the stage within the time limits to be able to continue. The floor goes back to Level 1 on Daily Reset, so keep collecting new runes and make your character stronger each day!

Sky Heaven

The “Sky Heaven” game content lets you face 2 different mini Dungeons, one for Black Wings and one for White Wings rewards. You can complete up to 10 stages per day (5 for each wing color) and it reset back to level 1 Daily. Starting from the 2nd Day, you can raid to the level you already reached on the past days skipping the fights.

Scholar Hall

The “Scholar Hall” game content lets you get a very high quantity of Exp each day by answering 10 quiz questions. Answer the questions correctly to receive the full rewards. Incorrect questions will still earn you some Gold (Exp Rewards is not affected by incorrect answers). The more questions you answer correctly, the better the rewards. 

Rewards

• Bronze Chest: Answer 0 to 6 Questions Correctly

• Silver Chest: Answer 7 to 9 Questions Correctly

• Gold Chest: Answer 10 Questions Correctly

Dungeon - Abyss

The “Abyss Dungeon” is the first Cooperative Content you will unlock in the game. In this game mode you can choose 2 different Dungeons at start, and another 2 while leveling up. Abyss Dungeons rewards you with different items, such as Elite Adventure Medallion, Pet Summon Tickets, Equipment Etc. Every day you have 2 Increases Drop Rate for the first 2 times you complete a Dungeon. A team composition of 1 Tank, 1 Healer and 2 Damage Dealer is preferred to balance the difficulty of the dungeon. 

Glory Arena

The “Glory Arena” is the first PvP content you will unlock by playing Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. This game content is not in the form of Live PvP, but you will be able to choose another Player Character and fight an AI controlled version of it. If you are able to defeat the selected opponent before the time expires, you will collect rewards and increase your Rank. You can fight up to 5 times x day, and entries will be refreshed on reset the next Day. Reaching a higher Tier will reward you with Diamonds. You will also obtain Elite/Master Glory Coin that you can exchange in the Shop for Special Rewards. 

Characters & Equipments

Characters

Your “Character” in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution can be enhanced in many ways. There’s Leveling, Skill Upgrading, a lot of equipment and much more, let’s check how to make your character stronger to compete in highest difficulty game modes:

Character Classes

• Warriors = This class range is Melee. Warriors can fight with strong Single Target and AoE attacks. Warriors can become Swordmaster, who excels in great AoE dmg or Mercenary, who are more single target oriented with some damage mitigation 

• Archer = This class range is Ranged. Archer can fight with both strong Single Target and AoE attacks. Archers can become Bowmaster, who excels in Long range Single Target damage or Ranger, with a great variety of AoE attacks

• Cleric = This class range is Melee. Clerics can fight with strong Lightning Spell and Melee combos. Clerics can become Paladins, who can Tank damage by aggroing monsters and reduce damage taken or Priests, who can unleash great AoE damage and Healing.

• Sorceress =This class range is Ranged. Sorceresses are great spell casters who excel on AoE Damage. Sorceresses can become Elementalist, Magic Damage Dealers specialized in Elemental Magic or Force User, Control oriented Magic Damage Dealer

Level Up

• The Level of your character is also the level of your account. Every time you get Exp in the game, your character level will increase. Unlocking higher levels increases all your Character Stats, Unlock New Spells and also Unlock your Character Secondary and Third Job.

Skill

• Every time your character reaches a determinate level (example: 12 - 14 - 24 etc) you will be able to unlock a new skill. Skills can be upgraded with Skill Point, and further skill upgrade require higher level

Equipments

The “Equipments” you can collect and wear on Dragon Nest 2: Evolution can also be improved. There’s a lot of different equipment that can make your Character stronger, let’s see how to improve them:

Equipments

• There’s a total of 9 pieces of Normal Equipment your character can collect and improve (Crown, Pauldrons, Top, Belt, Bottom, Brace, Shoes, Weapon and Off Hand) and 3 Special Equipment (Earrings, Ring and Necklace). All those Equipments can be Cultivated by inserting Dragon Jewel on them. Dragon Jewel improves each piece's stats.

Wings

• Wings are also a special Equipment you can obtain by completing Sky Heaven Game Content. Wings will give your Character additional Stats, and they can be fused together to reach higher Grade Wings. Keep completing Sky Haven Stages to improve your Wings

Dragon Rune

• Dragon Runes are Special Equippable Runes that come as “Tetris” pieces. Each rune improves an element for your characters, giving your Skill additional effects. You can obtain new Dragon Runes by completing Seal Breaker game mode

Pets

• Pets improve your character's power by fighting side by side with you. Each Pet has different combat skills and passive effects. Pets can be obtained in the Gacha Store

Appearance

• Some Cosmetics in the game also have Stats. You can obtained new Cosmetic sets via Gacha Summon or Events in game

The “Pet Gacha” is the First Banner you have in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. In this Banner you can summon to obtain new Pets, but also Pet Exp Potion and Pet Summoning Tickets. You can summon on this banner with Tickets x1/x10 or 60/600 Diamonds. Here’s the rates:

• Orange Rarity = 2% / 15% / 5%

• Purple Rarity = 0.1% / 5% / 2.5%
