Do you know how important it is to build a better team in this game? Team building is an essential aspect everyone should learn. If you fail to build up a fantastic team composition full of perfection without a flaw, you will never go forward in this game, as it mainly focuses on building the best teams and proceeding. Therefore, you should stay in this team-building guide until its end and learn how to create the best team in the Echocalypse on PC game.
When you start the game as an Echocalypse beginner, you will receive around 2 Super Special Rare (SSR) characters if you are lucky, or you will receive three SSR characters. But if not, you will only receive one SSR character at the beginning, even though you can summon more and obtain the Super Special Rare heroes when you proceed further in the game.
Other than the SSR heroes, the next rarity heroes you will obtain in this game are the Super Rare (SR) heroes but note that these SR heroes are not better or stronger than the SSR heroes and the SSR heroes are the core members of your team.
Also, there are Rare (R ) heroes other than these SSR or SR heroes, and we do not recommend you assign the R-tier heroes to your teams because they are not worthy of keeping in teams.
The link system is where you can assign extra characters for SSR characters to support them, and when you do so, you can add extra statistics or attributes to your character. So it is better to activate these links by recruiting the needed characters because of the benefits you will gain through these linked heroes.
Yes, as we mentioned, activating links needs specific characters stated in Echocalypse tier list. For example, if you assign a character to an SSR to create a link, you cannot just assign anyone you like. But you need to consider which link you will activate because there are many links you can activate, and according to the link you need to activate, you can assign characters.
You can link required characters for your SSR characters to increase their power or add additional characters to the Assist Bar as the helpers for your SSR heroes. If you do not have any space for links in the team anymore, but you think a specific character will be a good helper for the team members, you can place those characters in the Assist Bar to use in battles.
And when you create links, you should choose the best link which is valuable for your characters to make them better ones, along with increasing team power and start working to create that link; otherwise, the links will not be helpful for you. Therefore always consider the best links that contribute more to the team.
Leader Buffs are one of the essentials to activate in your team to add more power and attributes to your Echocalypse team, and you need some special requirements to activate these leader buffs. Once you make the requirements to meet, the leader buffs will automatically be created, and your team will be a better build. Many leader buffs can be activated, such as,
Deploy 2 SSR of the same faction in the squad - Attack Power will be +90 for all the units in the team.
Deploy 3 SSR of the same faction in the squad - Health Points and Armor Percentage of all units will be + 3300 and +5%, respectively.
Deploy 4 SSR of the same faction in the squad - Defense and Attack Power of all units will be + 130 and +5%, respectively.
Deploy 5 SSR of the same faction in the squad - Health Points will be +6700, and Resistance Percentage will be +5% for all the characters in the team.
Deploy 6 SSR of the same faction in the squad - Attack Power will be + 440 and Health Points +5% for all the heroes in the team.
To activate all these characters, you need to fulfill the above-mentioned requirements as well, and as you can see, these leader buffs will only be available to use if you have more SSR units in your team.
But when you do so, you should be more concerned about the links because deploying more SSRs will affect your link system. Therefore, you should balance leader buffs and link attributes for better Echocalypse: The Scarlet Covenant team building.
Now that you learned about how to have a perfect team build by activating leader buffs and creating links. But you must be concerned about which heroes you assign to your team. After learning about the above two methods of earning extra attributes for the team, many players ignore the importance of team composition and only try to obtain the additional attributes.
And even without their knowledge, their team will be unsuccessful because the right team composition is essential in the games like these. If not, how are you going to win battles without a better composition of characters?
When you create your team composition, you should at least assign one tank because a character who does the tank role is more valuable. The reason is that the tanks are good shielders as well, as they can deal with massive damage with fewer issues.
Also, the healer is the following essential role you should have in your team. The healer excels in healing allies by recovering their health points when they get injured. So, if one of your team members loses half of her health points, it does not concern you anymore if you have a healer on your team.
Finally, you should keep DPS (Damage Per Second) characters in your team, and when you keep DPS heroes, do not select only one because you need to deal massive damage to the enemies to defeat them and win. Therefore, you need to assign at least two or three DPS heroes to your team if you need to see a perfect team building.
But when you go deeper into the Echocalypse gameplay, you will face many powerful enemies, and then you might want to change the composition of teams.
And here, we are about to give you some recommendations for the battle line-ups which you can try when you play this Echocalypse game. With these recommended line-ups, you can achieve awesome progress here in no time. So keep your curiosity to yourself and start checking on the recommended Echocalypse line-ups given for you, depending on various factors.
If you are a beginner to this Echocalypse: The Scarlet Covenant game, this might be the best line-up for you to use as a starter. You know, in each line-up, you can add up to six characters, and here we go with the six characters you can use in this line-up.
Sova is the DPS unit in this team, which belongs to the SR rarity. With her precise arrow skills, she can deal physical damage to enemies massively. Some of her skills target a single enemy, but some may target a group of enemies.
As for the support character in this squad, you can use Eriri. She belongs to the SR rarity in this Echocalypse game and she has good healing skills which are useful for the whole team during tough battles.
Nanook is our next character recommended for this line-up, and she is an SR one. Her special trait is the Area of Effect shield, which makes her a tank in this squad. While dealing Area of Effect damage to the enemies, she can protect the teammates by supplying an Area of Effect shield.
There is another DPS unit in this squad who is called Snezhana in SR rarity. She is good at dealing with magic damage to the opponents using her magical skills.
For the other two empty slots, it is suggested to assign any of the two characters you wish to be added to the team. And as for Sova and Eriri, you can replace them with Senko, who excels in offense and defense and Iori, who is a supporter, respectively, only if you wish. The other two are irreplaceable here in this Echocalypse squad.
Here we come to the recommended battle line-up for the best defensive counterattack in Echocalypse: The Scarlet Covenant gameplay. With this team, you will experience a battle which is more likely based on defense with some counterattack measures. In this line-up we will suggest four characters, and for the rest, you can add any character you like to have in your team. So, let’s start exploring this line-up.
Pan Pan is the support character which we recommend for you to assign here. And she is an SSR character you can earn in this Echocalypse: The Scarlet Covenant gameplay. While dealing damage to the enemies using cannonballs, she makes a one-time defense shield for her allies, which makes her an ideal one for this defense-based team. If you don’t have this character, you can try using Lumin, who is another SSR character, but she is skillful in offensive and defensive skills.
Yulia is an SSR character who is skillful in absorbing damage to protect the allies from enemy attacks. Not only is she absorbing damage and reducing the damage taken of allies by enemies, she can even deal a significant amount of damage to the enemies. You can replace Yulia with Taisei if you want. Taisei is a Defensive clone belonging to SSR rarity. She can create clones of her using her magic hairs plucked out by herself and then awesomely damage the enemies.
And we have Audrey of SSR rarity as another support character to this squad. As she is a supporter, she always casts spells to support her teammates, and she also applies the regeneration effect on the allies to let them heal when they get damaged. Instead of Audrey, you can use Chiraha, which is a better replacement. She is an SSR who always provides shields to the allies while debuffing the enemies.
Vivi is the last character we recommend for this battle line-up. Her special trait is Area of Effect control, which lets her cast divine spells to deal damage to a group of enemies at once while reducing their rage. Akira can be added to the team instead of Vivi and she is a rage breaker who attacks the enemies with magic damage while reducing the rage of enemies.
If you would prefer a swift fight with no longer time spent on them, you just need to build your team based on the characters we recommended here. And in any case you don’t have the major characters we recommend, we will suggest some extra characters to try as well in this Echocalypse team building guide.
For a swift fight like you imagined, Kiki would be the best DPS to try out in this Echocalypse team. She comes from the SSR family, and she deals magic damage to the enemies. Most of her skills target a set of enemies at once, which helps you finish the battle as soon as possible. In case you lack Kiki, you can go for Kuri, a DPS unit similar to Kiki.
Audrey, the character we spoke about in the previous team, is suited for this team as well. She is going to be the support for this team and with her support to her teammates, they can survive longer during the battles. Or, you can choose Levia for this spot, who has a major in rage recovery.
Fenriru is going to be another DPS character for the team, and she is going to unleash and fire an explosive piercing round to deal damage to a set of enemies at once. Nyla is another top suited character for Fenriru’s role in this game. She is a DPS similar to Fenriru.
Then you have Baphomet, another SSR family member who acts as an Area of Effect debuffer. While she attacks the enemies, she can even block the enemy skills by applying various debuffs on them. Mori can be used to this line-up instead of Baphomet and she is another DPS which can deal physical damage to a troop of enemies at once.
If you are facing a hard battle situation or if you are about to face a hard time in battle, this is the recommended line-up you can use in those Echocalypse situations. This line-up mainly focuses on maintaining the HP and rage of the allies while doing everything to decrease the performance of enemy units.
Wadjet is the SSR counter attacker you should use in this battle line-up, but she only counters the high attacks, which proves why she belongs to this team. Most often, she breaks her limits and unleashes her best power, giving enemies the hardest time ever. She can confuse her enemies with her gaze while applying debuffs such as the Silent effect on them. She is an irreplaceable unit in this team where there is no other suitable unit for her place.
Niz, from the SSR family, is another recommended character here, and she is an Area of Effect control character who can apply various debuffs on enemies, such as the freeze effect, to slow down the enemies, etc. Ifurito is an ideal unit that specializes in AoE control, the same as Niz. She can apply debuffs on enemies such as fireseed, etc.
And here comes another familiar character for this line-up, Audrey. She is going to be the support character for this team who always helps the characters recover their HP quickly. Instead of Audrey, you can choose Levia here who is good at rage recovery. Instead of recovering HP, Levia recovers the rage of allies.
Nightingale is going to be the last recommendation for this Echocalypse battle line-up. She is better in the Area of Effect control, and with her skills, she inflicts debuffs on enemies, which is advantageous. And she is the irreplaceable AoE control unit in this line-up.
The next thing needed for a better Echocalypse team building is the Artifacts which are the triggering items you can equip in your teams, and through these, too, your team will receive extra buffs. But these artifacts will trigger randomly, and when these Artifacts trigger, it will cost you a certain amount of fusion points.
The Artifacts can be triggered manually or automatically, and it depends on the mode you choose to play. If you play the battles manually, you can start the Artifacts as you wish. But if you play using the Auto option, the Artifacts will activate automatically.
When you activate the Artifacts, you should first trigger the ones that give the team buffs, and then you can use others in the relevant situations. Also, do not forget to equip a healing artifact in the Artifact Bar, which will be a good helper, especially for the heroes with less HP, such as the tanks.
To have a perfect team build, you need a good understanding of the battle sequence, too and now let us look at how you should position the heroes you assigned to the battle team.
DPS with higher statistics should be put in the frontline of the battle team as they are better at causing massive damage.
Tank role heroes should be assigned to the frontline as they can absorb more damage easily and protect the allies regardless of their fewer health points, as you already know the strategies to increase the lifespan of tanks.
Healers or characters with defensive skills should be placed on the back row of the team because they do not have higher attack skills, and they should be kept under the protection of heroes with high attacking skills to prevent them from dying early.
Since all these Echocalypse team-building aspects lead you to achieve the best teams in your gameplay, you do not need to worry about your game’s progression anymore.
