League of Legends: Wild Rift Rengar Jungle Build Guide, Skills, Counters, Combos, And More!

2021-05-10

League of Legends Wild Rift is gradually making its way to players' hearts with a variety of champions and fair gameplay. These are two of the many things most players want in a game, and LOL: Wild Rift has these. What more is the option to buy any champion without spending a single dime in the game.

Today, we will be explaining another Jungle Champion, Rengar. League of Legends Wild Rift Rengar is a tank + DPS diver champion. As we have mentioned that it’s a Jungle champion, so its lane is jungle. Unfortunately, unlike League of Legends Wild Rift Evelynn, Rengar is powerful, but he is hard to play in other lanes. Let’s take an in-depth look at what this champion brings to the table.

Rengar – Champion Overview:

Rengar is a ferocious vastayan trophy hunter who lives for the thrill of tracking down and killing dangerous creatures. He scours the world for the most fearsome beasts he can find, especially seeking any trace of Kha’Zix, the void creature who scratched out his eye. Rengar stalks his prey neither for food nor glory but for the sheer beauty of the pursuit.

LOL Wild Rift Rengar Overview

Rengar mostly does massive Physical Damage, commonly known as AD (Attack Damage). However, mastering this champion and playing with it efficiently in the jungle is another story that we will explain later in the article.

Rengar Class:

Rengar is considered a part of the Fighter class. However, due to his ability to sneak attack, some players put him in Assassin Class. Class doesn’t really play any role in the game, but it does give you a preview of what your champion can do. For example, if your champion is Assassin, then that champion is pretty squishy, can deal massive damage, and have high attack speed.

Rengar Tier:

Unlike other champions like League of Legends Seraphine, Rengar is quite hard to put in a Tier. The reason for this depends on four things Damage, Toughness, Utility, and Difficulty. Many players place Rengar in S Tier, and some players consider it an A-Tier jungle champion. As we said, it’s all about the above-mentioned fur things. However, if you want to know the ultimate League of Legends: Wild Rift Champion Tier List, then check here.

Rengar Stats:

It’s time to take a look at Rengar stats and what he offers to you. Stats are one of the essential things you must know before picking a champion for your role. League of Legends: Wild Rift is not an ordinary game in which you pick a random champion and start showing your skills. In this game, you must know your champion and master your champion to make huge plays, and that’s the only option. Stats help you do that; instead of buying a champion and playing with it, you can simply check the champion's stats and pick accordingly.

If you main jungle, then check out our guide on How to farm efficiently as a Jungler.

Rengar Summoner Spell:

Right summoner spells can turn a solo or team fight situation, and the same goes for wrong summoner spells. Each champion has its own set of Summoner Spells; for example, Rengar is a jungle champion, so he must have Smite at all costs. Smite help him deal damage to jungle monsters, dragon, and Baron. Once the first item build is complete, Rengar can deal damage to enemy champions too with his smite.

Rengar Summoner Spells

The second spell is Flash. Flash allows you to chase a wounded champion, or save your life, or gank lanes, or steal Baron or dragon. Flash is one of the most important spells in League of Legends Wild Rift, and it is really hard to play without it. Talk about Top Laner, Mid, ADC, or Support all use Flash as their main spell and explore other options with the second spell.

The third option is Ghost. You can swap Flash for Ghost if you are pretty good with Rengar; otherwise, don’t bother. Ghost provides you extra movement speed to chase down your enemies or to back off from a fight. Un some cases, Ghost is proven to be the best alternative to Flash, but you must know how to use it properly.

Rengar Jungle Rune Guide and Builds:

Right runes can provide you the hidden boost, increasing your damage or increasing your allies' damage when you are near them, etc. Runes play an essential part in any champion's proper build, and Rengar isn’t any different. The main power to Rengar damage comes from runes, and there is only one way to know which runes go best with Rengar, and that is to check the following runes and descriptions:

Electrocute – Basic attacks and abilities generate stacks on enemy champions hit, up to one per attack or cast. Applying three stacks to a target within a 3 second period causes them to be struck by lightning, dealing them 30 - 184 (based on level) (+ 40% bonus AD) (+ 25% AP) Adaptive damage.

Adaptive Damage: Deals either physical or magic damage depending on your bonus stats, defaulting based on the origin of the effect.

Cooldown: 25s

  • Overview: Electrocute works well with a lot of Rengar combos, giving you, Rengar, the opportunity to proc the electrocute damage when jumping onto the enemy. Electrocute provides you massive early game advantage.

Weakness – Slowing or Immobilizing an enemy champion marks them for 5 seconds, while marked they take 5% increased damage.

  • Overview: Weakness is the second part of your rune, which allows you a massive advantage over your enemies in solo or team fights. Weakness only applies to enemy champions, not to jungle monsters.

Spirit Walker – Gain 50 max health and 20% slow resistance.

  • Overview: Spirit Walker really helps you in team fights, especially in the late game scenarios where everyone has at least three to four full items.

Mastermind – Deal 10% bonus true damage to Epic Monsters and Turrets. Earn an extra 100 gold and 500XP upon taking or assisting in taking epic monsters and turrets objectives.

  • Overview: Mastermind is your last rune in rune build as you only need four runes to complete your build. Rengar and most of the jungle champions are pretty weak and have a hard time jungling in the early stages of the game, and that's where Mastermind comes in handy.

Burst Runes for Rengar Jungler:

The first rune stays the same as Electrocute, but Weakness, Spirit Walker, and Mastermind should be swapped with the following:

Hunter Vampirism – Gain 2% physical vamp or 2% magic vamp. (adaptive)

Unique champion takedowns grant 2 AD with 1% physical vamp or 4 AP with 1% magic vamp. (adaptive)

  • Overview: Hunter Vampirism is a late-game rune, which helps you gain more physical and magical vampires when you kill enemy champions.

Hunter Titan – Gain 20 max health.

Unique champion takedowns grant 20 max health and 4% tenacity.

  • Overview: This rune is of the utmost importance in Rengar Burst runes and if you are all about "GOING ALL IN." You will gain extra health and tenacity when you take down enemy champions.

Hunter Genius – Gain 2.5 Ability Haste.

Unique champion takedowns grant 2.5 Ability Haste. (Max Ability Haste 15)

  • Overview: The Genius rune can be exchanged for another rune if wanted, but there is not really a rune better suited for Rengar. Since the rune offers you more Ability Haste making you able to use your abilities more often, it is helpful if you want to take down more than one enemy champion.

LOL Wild Rift Rengar Jungle Montage

Ultimate Hunter Runes:

Ultimate Hunter Runes gives you persistency instead of lethality. You will be changing your first three runes with Conqueror, Brutal, and Backbone. The fourth rune stays as Hunter Genius.

Conqueror – Basic attacks and abilities generate stacks of Conqueror on enemy champions hit, up to one per attack or cast. Each stack of Conqueror lasts 6 seconds and grants 2 - 6 (based on level) bonus (Adaptive) Attack Damage 4 - 12 (based on level) or Ability Power 3 - 9 (based on level), stacking up to 5 times, for a maximum of 10 - 30 (based on level) bonus Attack Damage or 20 - 60 (based on level) Ability Power (Adaptive).

When fully stacked, deal 7% bonus Adaptive damage to champions.

Adaptive Damage: Deals either physical or magic damage depending on your bonus stats, defaulting based on the origin of the effect.

  • Overview: Since you would build your corresponding items, more tanky Conqueror with this build, you will give you the extra damage you miss out from Electrocute. As a matter of fact, in a longer fight, Conqueror beats the other rune when it comes to maximum damage.

Brutal – Gain 7 AD and 2% armor penetration, or 14 AP and 2% magic penetration. (Adaptive)

  • Overview: Brutal will enormously help your early game by giving you extra AD and armor penetration.

Backbone – Gain 10 AR or 10 MR, based on whichever stat you have less of.

  • Overview: As mentioned before, the playstyle you will go with this rune setup will be sustainable; the backbone will give you the missing attack or magic resistance.

Rengar The Baron Hunter Rune Build:

Conqueror – Conqueror is chosen over Electrocute because it complements Rengar's kit better. Why? His Savagery increases his attack speed. The more you attack with Conqueror, the more you'll deal damage. With W, Battle Roar, Rengar's great at extended trades. Do you know what the other thing that's great at extended trade is? You guessed it right; it's Conqueror.

Grasp of Undying – Grasp of the Undying is OP on Baron lane Rengar because of the abundance of brushes in the Baron lane. You can force auto-attack trades with Rengar using his brush leaps, so you'll be able to make empowered attacks with healing and stacking HP bonus easily in the top lane, especially against careless, inexperienced opponents.

Brutal – Brutal is usually the better choice because it will help you clear your camps faster, and the flat bonus damage and penetration is a lot in the early game, where Rengar has the most advantage against his nemesis, Kha'zix. Triumph can be a good alternative in the top lane for the bonus execute damage and additional healing on takedowns.

Hunter – Titan – Hunter Titan allows you to some margin of error because sometimes, unavoidably, you will be controlled while you have less than four Ferocity stacks. If the enemy team has few crowd control abilities, Conditioning is a great pick because it will increase your Effective Hit Points by 8% against both physical and magic damage after 5 minutes.

Rengar Jungler Item Guide and Builds:

You might have heard about Itemization, but do you know how important items are in League of Legends: Wild Rift? The item plays an important role in increasing your damage, toughness, etc. The choice of items also explains a lot about your team fights and solo fights. LOL Wild Rift Rengar Itemization

Rengar Build Vs Marksman:

  • Youmuu’s Ghostblade > Gluttonous Greaves > Duskblade of Draktharr > Black Cleaver > Death’s Dance >Guardian Angel.

Build these items to has enough damage against Marksman or AD champions.

Stasis Enchant –Stasis (Active): Become invulnerable and untargetable for 2.5 seconds but unable to move, attack, cast abilities, or use items. (120s Cooldown)

  • +45 Attack Damage
  • +35 Magic Resistance
  • +10 Ability Haste

Build Maw of Malmortius to get 35 Magic resistance and 45 Attack damage against mage champions.

Build stasis enchant to survive from a high AP champions combo.

Rengar Build Vs. Tank:

  • Youmuu’s Ghostblade>Gluttonous Greaves>Duskblade of Draktharr> Mortal Reminder > Death’s Dance > Black Cleaver.

Mortal Reminder – Last Whisper: +30% Armor Penetration.

Executioner's Calling: Physical damage applies Grievous Wounds to the enemy champions for 3 seconds.

Grievous Wound is a debuff that reduces all healing received by 40%

  • +45 Attack Damage

Protobelt Enchant – Protobelt (Active): Dash forward and unleash a cone of missiles that deal 75-145 magic damage. If champions or monsters are hit by more than one missile, the additional missiles deal only 10% damage. (60s cooldown)

Rengar’s The Baron Hunter Ultimate Build:

  • Black Cleaver
  • Plated Steelcaps
  • Death’s Dance
  • Spirit Visage
  • Guardian Angel
  • Mortal Reminder

This item build is for a Baron lane Rengar. This build will allow him to fight as a front liner, capable of absorbing more damage than usual but still capable of one-shotting enemies who dare to underestimate you.

Black Cleaver Black Cleaver is the alternative core item to Trinity Force. It grants more health in exchange for less damage output, but the great thing about this item is that it enables your teammates to deal more damage to those you deal physical damage too thanks to its Sunder passive, which shreds the target's armor by 4% for each instance of physical damage, stacking up to 6 times for a total of 24%. That's almost like a free mortal reminder for your whole team. Although, if you are stomping your lane and the enemy has no tanks, you should build Trinity Force instead for more solo carrying potential.

Spirit Visage Spirit's Visage's Blessed passive increases all the healing the wielder receives by 30%. This means that once you cast Rengar's W, Battle Roar, you'll refund a whopping 65% of the damage you have recently received. If the enemy team doesn't build Grievous Wounds against you ASAP, you'll be unstoppable.

Rengar's Skills Introduction:

Rengar’s Abilities Analysis: H2

It’s time to discuss Rengar Jungle abilities and give you an in-depth analysis:

Unseen Predator – Passive Ability:

Rengar’s passive allows him the opportunity to leap from a brush or camouflage to his targetted enemy from quite a long, impressive range. You can jump on all targetable units, including minions, monsters, champions to wards, blast cones, and scryer’s bloom. Your leap, Rengar, is considered a basic attack and will apply empowered attack effects like his Savagery and Spellblade.

He gains 1 Ferocity on his leap if Rengar currently has no Ferocity. He can cast his Savagery before jumping to instantly gain two Ferocity stacks. With the cooldown, his Savagery will refresh earlier, allowing you the opportunity to land Rengar's Triple Savagery combo relatively easily and possibly.

Ferocity can be stacked up to four times. It converts Rengar’s abilities into its empowered versions when you have stacked it at its max. Ferocity empowered skills have no cooldown, but you can only use one of the three to max out the stacks each time.

You can walk out of the brush for half a second and still leap over your targetted enemies. Make sure to practice it a lot because it has quite the margin of error and could make you fail when you are still trying to get a feel for it. The best way to practice Rengar is to enable 120 FPS in LOL: Wild Rift.

You can also jump in other areas of the brush if you are not in the melee range of your target. Aside from being a close gap and the bonus Ferocity, there are no other apparent benefits to the Unseen Predator's leap. So, don’t stress yourself trying to pull off multiple leaps. The only way you will get benefit from multiple leaps is when you want to take full advantage of item Duskblade of Draktharr’s(Nightstalker passive), or you are forcing trades in the Baron lane to successfully proc "Grasp of the Undying."

LOL Wild Rift Rengar Gameplay

On a serious note, the rate where you can leap is based on Rengar’s attack speed. Ferocity dissipates on leaving the battle. There isn't any exact number, but it is approximately 5 seconds after dealing or receiving damage.

Rengar’s other passive is Bonetooth Necklace which grants Rengar bonus attack damage for each unique takedown. Think of it as a minigame. Of course, you’d want to max out the stacks as early as possible but don’t die trying to do it. Rengar has a slower clear than Kha’zix. If you die, you’ll lose so much potential gold and experience.

Savagery - First Active Ability:

Savagery is an empowered attack ability that perfectly synergizes with Rengar’s leap. It grants bonus damage on Rengar’s next attack and bonus attack speed for three seconds. When empowered with max Ferocity, it grants more damage and more attack speed for five seconds.

Savagery is an auto-attack reset like most empowered attack abilities. When going for short bursts, you can opt to do a leap-Q-auto for more damage. If you want a quick attack and out, do the simpler Q-leap. Like most empowered attack abilities, it can be countered by Teemo’s Blinding Dart or Jax’s Counterstrike.

In extended trades, activate the empowered version if you are going to burst down the enemy champion. Don’t worry about overlapping the attack speed bonus because it grants more attack speed. Just to be clear, the attack speed bonuses do not stack. The empowered version will take over during its duration.

Think of the empowered Savagery as your execution tool on 1v1s. If the enemy can dish out damage or can escape you, you’d be better off casting Rengar’s Battle Roar or Bola Strike.

Battle Roar – First Active Ability:

Battle Roar is an AoE damaging ability that also heals Rengar for half of the recently received damage. When empowered with max Ferocity, Battle Roar can be cast while controlled, cleansing out all crowd control from himself and grants him bonus movement speed.

Battle Roar is Rengar’s most potent outplay tool. Take note of your enemy’s most damaging ability, like Kha’zix’s Taste Their Fear, and use Battle Roar immediately; the enemy has used that ability on you.

If the enemy has crowd control you suspect will be used on you, spam all your abilities immediately as you leap so you can instantly have max Ferocity ready for your empowered Battle Roar. Yes, you’ll lose the healing from the basic Battle Roar but having max Ferocity is essential for the Cleanse effect to be available. A good team would jump the gun on you so that you won’t be able to remove the crowd controls they threw at you.

If you have max Ferocity after leaving battle or after clearing a camp, use the empowered Battle Roar to increase your movement speed so you can head to your next camp or your next kill faster.

Bola Strike - Third Active Ability:

Bola Strike is Rengar’s crowd control ability. The basic version only slows down the enemy champion, but it is usually enough to kill down squishy champions if you land it. If you are faced with an enemy with blinks or other mobility tools, use the max Ferocity version to root them down and kill them. The root is also perfect against tanky enemies if you are hunting together with your allies.

Bola Strike can be used while leaping. It is the best time to use Bola Strike because it has a casting animation that forces Rengar to stop throwing the Bola. If you miss, the enemy will have a higher chance of getting away. You can cancel this casting animation and extend its range by casting Flash. Cast Bola strike first, then Flash to pull off the animation cancel.

Thrill of the Hunt - Ultimate Ability:

The Thrill of the Hunt, ultimate ability reveals the nearest enemy champions and grants you camouflage and makes you undetectable by enemy wards. It also increases Rengar's movement speed and grants his first attack out of camouflage bonus armor shred, reducing the target’s armor for four seconds.

Rengar's ultimate ability can only reveal enemy champions at a range of below half of the map. For example, if you, Rengar, want to detect if enemies are at Baron, you will have to walk outside of your base to reveal them. Don't worry about being seen until you are at least two leaps away from your enemy. Your enemy can only spot you by your eye icon above them, so stay hidden inside a brush and use Flash to get close to your enemies before making plays. You can also go for the recommend items Pathfinder + Youmuu’s Ghostblade build.

On lower levels of Thrill of the Hunt, activate it beyond the enemy's detection range, then go a long way, intercepting their route towards their turret so you can minimize their chances of escape. When playing as a Baron laner, you can attempt a kill by recalling then activating Thrill of the Hunt at the second turret to kill the enemy mid-lane together with yours.

Rengar Skill Progression:

Just like any other League of Legends: Wild Rift champion, Rengar also relies on skills progression. Skill progression is when you level up and have a choice between your three abilities to level up one ability. Choosing and upgrading the right ability at the right level can exponentially increase your chances of winning 1v1 and team fights.

LOL Wild Rift Rengar Skill Progression

  • Savagery – First Active Ability: 1 – 4 – 6 – 7
  • Battle Roar – Second Active Ability: 2 – 8 – 10 – 11
  • Bola Strike–Third Active Ability: 3 – 12 – 14 – 15
  • Thrill of the Hunt – Ultimate Ability: 5 – 9 – 13

Max out Savagery first because it is Rengar’s main source of damage. Battle Roar is maxed after Savagery because it’s a great source of sustain throughout the game, and its cooldown scales with level. Bola Strike is maxed in the last because it is best used for its empowered root; its duration does not scale with levels, so it does not bring much to the table out of the root effect. Get one point in your ultimate whenever possible.

League of Legends Wild Rift - Rengar Jungle Combos:

The following are some of the combos you can execute with Rengar:

Berserker Barrage – Burst Damage Combo:

  • Thrill of the Hunt > Savagery > Auto Attack >Bola Strike> Auto Attack>Battle Roar >Empowered Savagery > Auto Attack > Savagery

This combo deals with the highest possible DPS Rengar can dish out. Activate Savagery before the first jump to have two stacks on initiation. This combo can be used from the brush without ult.

The true burst damage combo is only possible with 50 ability haste and above. In the early game, you have to squeeze in more auto attacks and wait until the very last moment before jumping if you want to pull off the triple Savagery.

Rengar_Qcombo

Combo Breaker – Double Healing + Cleanse Out Crowd Control:

  • The thrill of the Hunt > Savagery > Battle Roar > Empowered Battle Roar.

This combo is used for increased survivability against burst damage champions like Kha’zix. This combo is your key to defeating Kha’zix because it can nullify his burst damage TWICE.

If you are going to use the combo exclusively for healing, wait for the enemy to use their combo before using the first W. If you are anticipating a crowd control, use the first W immediately.

Bear Trap – Crowd Control:

  • Thrill of the Hunt >Savagery > Bola Strike > Battle Roar > Empowered Bola Strike.

The root can be used to lock down tanky champions; you cannot burst down by yourself. This combo is perfect for catching up on champions with blinks or other mobility tools as well.

Only use this combo on tanks if you have allies for can follow-up and deal more damage. Otherwise, don’t bother. You can use both iterations of E, Bola Strike while leaping from a brush.

Most common Rengar Combos:

  • Battle Roar > Bola Strike > Savagery > Bola Strike
  • Thrill of the Hunt > Battle Roar> Bola Strike > Savagery > Empowered Bola Strike

League of Legends: Wild Rift Rengar Jungle Pros and Cons:

  • Extremely fun to play.
  • Strong in skirmishes and duels.
  • Unique playstyle.
  • Rengar has much flexibility in terms of item builds, so his options and play styles are limitless.
  • Rengar’s unique brush leap mechanic and empowered ability make him extremely rewarding to play both as a jungle and as a Baron laner.
  • Rengar is one of the strongest junglers in the game, and he can snowball uncontrollably with his Bonetooth Necklace passive, which grants him stacking bonus damage.
  • Rengar is great at early game duels, so he can force most enemy junglers away from scuttlers and, soon enough, from their own jungle.
  • He has high sustained for an assassin and can force engagements.
  • Rengar has some map control thanks to the reveal from his ultimate.

Cons:

  • Really hard to master.
  • Needs a lot of practice.
  • Bad vs. tanks
  • It is harder to play from behind using Rengar compared to his nemesis, Kha’zix.
  • Hard to play in a team fight.
  • Rengar relies on a good early game to carry his team. If he fails to create a lead in the early game, his impact becomes minimal.
  • Brushes heavily limit his ganks if Rengar doesn’t have his ultimate available.
  • Rengar's leap mechanic can be frustrating for new players because it is a mistake-prone mechanic. A wrong leap is a missed kill or certain death.

Rengar Matchups (Synergies, Counters, Strong, and Weak Against):

Synergies, Counters, Strong and Weak Against in-depth look will give you an idea of how to proceed forward with Rengar. Rengar is quite strong but to balance this game and make it a fair gaming environment; you will be able to see his counters and champions who can beat him without any issues. Let’s get straight to the in-depth matchups and counters:

Synergies:

Orianna – Orianna can use her third active skill, “Command Protect," on you while you are camouflaged, then leap into the middle of the enemy team for a devastating ultimate, Command: Shockwave followed up with her second active skills “Command: Dissonance.” This combo has extremely high Ace potential, and she can complement your, Rengar’s aggressive early game playstyle because she almost always has lane priority.

Janna – Aside from denying the enemy team the meta peeler who is Janna, having her in your team is a great plus to Rengar. She can keep up with Rengar’s roaming, and thanks to her shield, which grants high bonus damage, you'll be able to kill squishies twice with just one combo.

Strong Against:

Xin Zhao – Xin Zhao is a C Tier champion in LOL: Wild Rift. Even with his damage and skills, he somehow lacks what it takes to beat Rengar in 1v1 fights even when Rengar isn't fed. If you are Xin Zhao, then you are doomed against Rengar. There isn't any other way around except to stay safe and in your jungle, keep your wards up, and avoid going against Rengar.

Vi – Vi might be one of the strongest champions with a lot of burst damage in LOL: Wild Rift. However, when she is against Rengar, she becomes pretty much useless if not played properly. With Vi in the enemy team, you can simply invade her jungle and harass her in the early game to build pressure. Try to get her alone to get a few kills off of her to become invincible.

Master Yi – He can just use Alpha Strike to block all of your dmg, and to avoid this, try to beat him before early so that your win after level 5; you can’t win if you don't beat him early.

Evelynn – Before level 5, you are bullying her. When she gets the Last Caress, you just have to be aware that you aren't below 35% health, and she is a free kill.

Shyvana – If you see the enemy picking a Shyvana, you are probably going to end up stomping her if you follow the given instructions step by step. When the game starts, go and ward her Blue. Once you finish your Red side Jungle, she will most probably appear on her Blue. That is the time you run toward her and kill her.

She doesn't stand a chance level 3 against you. If the invade fails and you can't kill her, double Crab her. Don't let her breathe until she gets to level 5. Try to contest every camp in her jungle. Once you have done that, you will have such a massive lead that the enemy team is going to play practically 4 vs. 5.

Weak Against:

Gragas – Gargas, another top laner, has high hp and damage as a Baron Lane champion. If you are laning against him, then stay under your turret and farm whatever he gives you. If you are a jungler and he is in the top lane, then ward his side of the jungle and try to help out your top laner to shut down Gargas in the early game. He can become really strong if left unchecked.

Olaf – Just scale because you out-scale him; you can't beat if his Vicious Strikes is still up; fight him with your bushes.

Amumu – Amumu is one of those champions who can give a tough time to you, but they are not hard to beat. For example, you will need to use your skills and practice to beat this crying elf. He can deal damage to you and cause an issue in team fights, and the only way you have is to shut him down in the early game when he is at his weakest stage.

Jarvan IV – Jarvan IV isn't a jungler, so you will only find him against you while playing baron lane, or you can find him in enemy top lane even if you are playing jungler. Jarvan IV is the name of the worst scenarios; he can shut you down, feed on you, and get stronger by the minute. The only possible way to beat Jarvan IV is to gank his lane a lot, build pressure, and try to kill him or maybe push him to stay under turret.

Graves – Really hard matchup; try fighting him if he has no stacks and you have full stacks; one’s hot him if you have Thrill Of The Hunt with full stacks and be careful he can use his Smoke Screen in your bush so you can't jump.

Rengar Counter Champions:

LOL: Wild Rift Rammus

Rammus – The best way to counter jungle Rammus is to not pick Rengar as a jungler or top laner if they already picked him and actually play something else. But if you have to play against Rammus, try to avoid him 100% of the time since he can CC lock you and even interrupt your jump when he is using his rolling ability. Even after getting a lead against him, you will have a hard time dealing with him.

Kha’zix – You beat him early, and once he gets his ult, you can't really beat him unless you're really fed; if he jumps into you first, you're dead, and if you jump first, he's dead unless you both know how to counter each other.

You have to be proactive when against Kha'zix. Force him to fight you pre-level five where you out damage and out sustain him. Once he has his ultimate and first Evolves, the fight begins to side in his favor. Keep tabs on him, and once he uses his ultimate, that's your signal to force him into fighting you. If you are not sure whether he has his ultimate available or not, play the side of the map opposite of him. Once you gain a lead on him, keep pressuring his jungle because he has an extremely fast clear, and therefore, he has good comeback potential if left unchecked.

Twisted Fate – Twisted Fate hard counters Rengar's ultimate, Thrill of the Hunt, with his own ultimate, Destiny. Your best bet is to play around with his ultimate and to catch him alone because his Gold Card is useless against your empowered second active skill, Battle Roar.

Darius – Darius is one of Rengar's toughest matchups in the Baron lane. You can't leap into him because he's never going to back away in a fight, and he won't let you get away. He'll use his second active skill, “Crippling Strike," on you, then force you to use your empowered second skill, “Battle Roar.” Once you have used your empowered second skill, “Battle Roar,” he’ll drag you back using his third active skill, “Apprehend.” If counter-picked into this matchup, farm under your turret and look for gank to help your team every time you have your ultimate. Do not feed the Darius!

Lee Sin – One of the greatest and powerful counters of Rengar is jungle Lee Sin. If you are playing against Lee Sin, don't try to invade his jungle or offend him in any way. You will have to use wards in your side of the jungle and in his jungle to avoid any surprise ganks.

The best option is to run away if he tries to late invade your jungle. However, if you think that you have enough cooldowns to outplay him, then go for it. It is highly recommended to avoid him in the early stages of the match and to focus on the farm and getting items. Once you have enough items, you can actually get a kill from him.

Rengar Full Guide (Early, Mid, and Late game Scenarios):

It’s time to dive right into Rengar Early, Mid, and Late Game situations. Keep in mind; these scenarios depend on a lot of factors, like how you performed in the early game, how your team performed in the early game, what was your first item, how many kills you have got, and much more. All of these factors define your Early to Mid to Late Game situations.

Early game – Ganking:

After you clear your jungle, you will look for a gank on the side you will be; either it will be mid, dragon or Baron lane depends on if the map is reversed. Take a look at which lane is pushed in; this lane will be the easiest to gank. The best-case scenario will be to get their summoners and kill out of the gank. After a successful gank, go back and farm your jungle.

Mid game – Split Push:

In the midgame, you want to gank, Split, push and clear your jungle as often as possible to get a huge amount of gold in your pocket. You will be able to apply a lot of pressure since you are able to almost one-shot enemy towers.

The best lane to gank if you want to scale to a win is the Duo lane and your Baron lane. At the dragon fights in the midgame, you will have to try to assassinate the enemy jungler to get a dragon as easily as possible.

Late game – Team Fights:

Once the late game hits and you have enough items, you will be an absolute death threat for the enemy team. You will have to punish everyone who is mispositioned or is overextended. Try to abuse your invisibility to give your team info about the enemy team and split push as much as possible to split the enemy team-up.

League of Legends: Wild Rift - Rengar Jungle Pathing Guide:

As a jungler, you are in a very tight position unless you have a good rotation and don’t reveal your position. As long as you are doing both, you will be fine, right? But, no in your responsibility comes ganking a lane. Seems quite easy, still no. Ganking is one of the hardest things for jungler because you have to farm a lot faster than laner to get your ultimate before they get there and then gank a lane. In this guide, we will share tips on Rengar Jungle Pathing and how you should keep your rotation:

Jungle Clear:

First of you want to start at your red side because this side is the easiest to cleat with your Savagery. You will start with red; the next camp will be your Krugs. From there, you will go to your Raptors and proceed to your blue side jungle. Once you are on your blue side, you will run to the Scuttle crab. From there, you will go back to Blue buff and to your Wolves. If you do this clear, you will be level 5 faster than anyone else on the map.

The other option is to start from the enemy jungle with the help of your teammates. It depends on what side of the map you are on. So, we can’t tell you what to get, but you need to be aiming for Red and Blue enemy buffs. This will give you a massive lead, our enemy jungler. Keep in mind, don’t stay too long in the enemy jungle; just go in, get the buff, ward the bush, and start clearing your jungle as fast as possible. At this stage, you will be able to get your ultimate before enemy jungler and many other enemy champions.

After clearing your jungle, you can then gank the nearest lane according to the map placement. You might want to do that before your first back. After ganking, go back for your build and then gank that lane again because your enemy won’t be expecting you in his lane because of your recent game. You could do that even if your first gank was a failure.

Early Drake Fights:

Before the drake spawns, try to get level 7. Don’t ever start a drake alone! Try to hide in the bushes around the dragon pit and catch someone out; if you see someone that is mispositioned, kill them, preferably the enemy jungler. Then that’s the moment you want to start doing the drake with your teammates.

Rift Herald:

Before you move to the Rift Herald, you should gank their Baron Laner, then move with him together to the Rift Herald and take it together.

Baron Fight:

Let your team engage and flank from the backside to assassinate as many carries as possible. If you do this, you will probably win the whole fight, get the Baron and almost end the game.

Final Thoughts:

Rengar is one of the scariest champions in League of Legends Wild Rift because of his camouflage and his looks. This champion packs so much damage if you know how to use it properly to your advantage. Getting Quadra and Penta kills with Rengar is quite possible, too, as compared to other jungle champions.

The key to successfully being Rengar Jungle lies within the practice and knowing the situations and combos. Execute those combos at the right time, and you will have an easy match. All of this has been fully explained in the guide above; if you want to read more of our guides on different champions, then check out Nasus Ultimate Guide, Zed’s Builds and Combos, Seraphine Support, and Mid laner, and much more. Download Wild Rift on PC to enjoy uninterrupted gaming sessions.
