- Introduction to the association:
“The Charitable Society for the Care of Rheumatism Patients - Rheumatism” is a non-profit charitable society licensed by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development No. (773) and technically supervised by the Ministry of Health. Its services include all regions of the Kingdom and its main headquarters is in the city of Riyadh. It has two branches in the Eastern Province and the city of Dammam. And the Asir region (the city of Abha). The association sponsors the medical, therapeutic and psychological aspects of patients most in need (adults and children), and contributes to spreading awareness and education with the aim of reducing the negative impact of rheumatic diseases on the individuals affected by them, their families and society.

Ensuring a better quality of life for rheumatic patients through distinguished health and social services, and spreading awareness in the field of rheumatic diseases in partnership with relevant authorities.
Strategic objectives:
1- Automation of procedures: The total transformation towards a digital organization through the use of the latest standards in the field of automation of information systems, which would raise the efficiency of business and technical and scientific activities at all levels.
2- Manufacturing and implementing programs and projects with high efficiency and quality
3- Information technology development
4- Achieving financial stability to ensure the association’s continuity in implementing its mission
5- Raising the level of administrative efficiency
6- Activating the role of public relations to improve the mental image of the association among beneficiaries
Operational objectives:
1- Providing, purchasing and distributing medicines
2- Providing psychological and social support
3- Establishing, operating and managing specialized medical centres
4- Performing joint replacement surgeries and obesity surgeries for patients with rheumatism, and joint replacement surgeries for patients with osteoarthritis and friction
5- Supporting research and studies
6- Providing direct medical care
