Keadilan Ilahi - Asas Islam Description
This Android application is an Explanation of Divine Justice Principles of the Islamic World View By Murtadha Mutahhari. In PDF format.
Justice, according to the Al-Quran, is a companion to monotheism, the pillars of ma'ad (the hereafter), the purpose of establishing nubuwwah (prophecy) and the philosophy of leadership, as well as a benchmark for one's perfection and the standard of social welfare. Still referring to the Qur'anic explanation, Murtadha Mutahhari said that justice is a kind of "worldview".
In this book, Mutahhari explores important themes in the Islamic-scientific treasury, as well as demonstrates his broad insights to prove his statement. In studying this justice, he uses both the naqliah approach (an approach based on the texts of revelation and hadith) and aqliah (a philosophical and theological approach based on ratios).
Before stepping on the core of his study, in the Introduction section, Mutahhari explains at length the interesting debates related to this matter—a long debate that eventually resulted in two well-known theological schools of thought in Islamic thought, namely the Asy'aria and Mu'tazilah. Then, he also explained the emergence of the principle of justice in the world of fiqh which was reflected in the conflict between qiyas experts and hadith experts.
After explaining some of the peculiarities of the Shia school of thought in discussing the theme of justice, Motahhari also shows how this theme of justice is the secret of the true source of dynamics of thought in the Islamic world.
