Gift is one word in Arabic
In language, gifts are defined as:
Property that is given and presented to someone in the framework of respect.
Meanwhile, in terms, gifts are interpreted not much different from the meaning in language. In the Syafii school of thought, the term gift is defined as:
Giving an object without compensation, which is accompanied by transferring the item to the recipient of the gift, as a form of respect for the recipient
From the understanding above, the meaning of gifts in syar'i terms is not much different from the meaning of gifts among us. As in KBBI, gifts are defined as: giving (memento, award, respect).
