Memetik Hikmah di Tengah Wabah Description
This Android application is an Explanation About Learning Wisdom in the Middle of an Outbreak by Ahmad Sarwat, Lc. MA. In PDF format.
The Corona or Covid-19 outbreak is a unique phenomenon that is happening in the present. Unlike other pandemics, this pandemic occurs quickly and spreads to all corners of the earth without being able to be avoided.
The impact is the lock-down imposed by various countries. Actually this lock-down is not an impact, but a step taken to prevent the spread of the plague.
This step is considered the most likely to be carried out, as long as no vaccine has been found that can prevent people from contracting this vicious virus. However, the lock-down then caused many side effects.
People were prohibited from gathering in large numbers, so worship activities at mosques and various taklim assemblies had to be stopped.
Congregational prayers at the mosque are also affected, even the Friday prayer which is obligatory. And this step also raises the question of fiqh, is it permissible for us to abolish congregational prayers at the mosque, both the five daily prayers and also the Friday prayers?
So many other questions also arise, is the spread of this virus a punishment from Allah SWT, as what is often told in the Al-Quran that happened to the former Ummah? Or is this a sunnatullah that can happen to anyone?
What is interesting to discuss is related to the policy of the Imam of the Al-Haram Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina who also closed the two mosques and sterilized special places from people.
Even the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia also stopped the flow of Umrah pilgrims for a certain period of time. The view of the Al-Haram mosque that we can monitor from the television set is unique, namely the page of the tawaf (mathaf) is empty and there are no worshipers doing the tawaf.
Of course this phenomenon is unique, because many people previously boasted that the Al-Haram mosque was a holy place that had been blessed, how could it be possible to get a disease outbreak. And indeed we find an authentic hadith narrated by Bukhari which quotes the statement of Rasulullah SAW that there will be no years and epidemics there.
