Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Bathuthah was a traveler, adventurer, and observer who kept a diary of the countries he visited in his wanderings. Travel notes known as the book "Rihlah Ibn Bathuthah" were written after he visited various parts of the world, then observed the culture, customs and behavior of the people in the countries he visited, especially the areas led by Islamic sultanates.
