The maps are okay, but there are no settings. The biggest issue is that there's no way to change the units to imperial. It touts itself as USA friendly but makes us use the metric system. It would be nice to change other things like canging the screen to night mode. It would be nice to use other voice sounds. There's no ability to add a home or work address. I paid for one month to give it a try. I doubt I'll be renewing.
It asks permission to my pictures, apps, calendar, contacts, and so many other private locations and since I denied it 3 times, the app has frozen where I can't use it...at all! Google maps and other maps and GPS apps don't ask that many permissions. There were more to list but since I was cut off. I was unable to go back in to see them. Until this is fixed, no thank you!
It does everything my Garmin did and a little bit more. If you have a decent internet it's really good, every so often you'll get directions a tad off, otherwise it's very good. There's not much in the way of configuration, you can't adjust or change the voice and the default is robotic and un-inventive, TBH I have had passengers whom have asked me to turn the app off just because of the voice. You do have a handful of configuration options, Public Transit, Walk, Auto... Tolls, etc.
