Loved it when it actually worked. I used this for quite a while then all of a sudden it made me reconnect my bank account several times, then it wouldn't take round-ups out when it was connected. This was the case for a couple months. Support didn't figure out what was going on (although they were still trying), so i just closed my account. Bummer, I really did like it. Customer support is top notch I will say. Very friendly.
I had to start accounting for "roundups" in my own calculations because the app does after the other transactions reach $5. It's not a true real time round up, it more of a $5 charge every few days. So I had to be able to account for this with my financials. Great concept, but not perfect for everyone. Especially those who need to budget the $5 transactions, and when they will charge bank.
Great concept. Works great for others that dont deal with money directly or trouble budgeting. It is much easier for me personally to open an additional account and set low recurring transfers that wont impact my budget then transfer the amount. Also, if you have an already existing student loan payment, then why not set payments with an extra $25 per month? Not bashing on the app but it is a good concept, just polish up the interface to make it more user friendly.
