BAD APP. just got app yesterday. Tried to buy an item, my CC was charged but there was some technical issues and seller couldnt print shipping label so she had to cancel the order and asked me to try to repurchase. This activity made Vinted suspend my account! Then when my account reactivated the next day, I tried to do the purchase again as asked, but the seller had SAME issue with printing label! I'm waiting to see if I end up getting the item or im refunded then I'm deleting this awful app.
I have been shopping on this app for at least 5 years and I recently had someone scam me. They had me purchase an item and then shipped it to themselves so that it would complete the transaction. I alerted customer service which just seems to be automated responses. I requested a refund and I was "told" that they would not be issuing a refund because the item was shipped to me and the transaction was completed. Even after showing them the tracking information proving it was a scam.
Great platform when everything goes well but quite opaque on support when things go wrong. Most people operate with decency on Vinted but it's a bit of an open invitation to those who may buy or sell without discernment. More could be done to make sure everybody is subject to basic trading standards. This is always going to be limited when support is automated. Otherwise mostly a good experience.
