1. Marriage as the Sunnah of the Prophet
Marriage is a way to realize one of the basic goals of Islamic law, namely protecting lineage, because with it an important means is formed to protect humans from falling into things that are forbidden by Allah, such as adultery, homosexuality, and so on.
Through a number of editorial arguments we can find the motivation to marry which is part of the life of the prophets or what is meant by the sunnah of the prophet. As the following hadith hadith:
At-Tirmidhi narrated from Abu Ayyub Radhiyallahu anhu, he said that Rasulullah Shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:
"There are four things that are included in the Sunnah of the Apostles: shyness, wearing perfume, wearing a face, and getting married." (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi)
Equally important, the same thing is also mentioned in the history of Imam Bukhari in his Al Jami', about the story of three friends who wanted to match the worship of the Prophet SAW by praying all night without sleep, fasting for a full year, and not getting married. However, the Prophet forbade this, as the following hadith says:
