Zakat Rekayasa Genetika Description
This Android application is Genetic Engineering Zakat - Ahmad Sarwat, Lc., MA. In PDF format.
Genetic engineering is one form of technological progress that we have unknowingly entered into. Chicken, eggs, various fruits and so many foods that we consume every day, most of them are no longer natural animals and plants as Allah SWT created them. Most of them have undergone a process of genetic engineering (genetical engineering) without us knowing it.
The chickens we eat every day are generally only 35 days old, this is the result of genetic engineering. In fact, native chickens need months to mature and ready to be slaughtered. Likewise the eggs that we eat every day, are eggs that do not go through the process of mating a rooster and a hen. These are genetically modified eggs.
Genetic engineering is an attempt to manipulate the genetic characteristics of living things to produce living things that have the desired characteristics. Genetic engineering can be done by adding, subtracting, or combining two genetic materials (DNA) that come from two different organisms. Genetic engineering takes genes directly from one organism and inserts them into another. This process is much faster, can be used to insert genes from any organism (even organisms from multiple domains) and prevent unwanted genes from being added.
Borrowing the scientific term genetic engineering, the author does not intend to discuss modern biology in this book, but intends to write about a branch of jurisprudence, namely zakat fiqh. In this modern era, zakat fiqh has experienced what scientists and biologists call genetic engineering.
More specifically, the original zakat fiqh which has been established for 14 centuries, has been trusted and has been carried out by Muslims around the world, under the direction of four schools of thought fiqh scholars, today has undergone a genetic mutation through the process of modern fatwas that are more like genetic engineering in contemporary biology.
