Some players may encounter the issue where the emulator’s screen has been locked automatically and a password is required to unlock it even though one has never been set. If you are facing this issue, please follow this tutorial. 

Step 1: Change Root and ADB debugging settings in the locked instance

Go to Settings > Other settings. Check “Enable” for Root permission and choose “Open local connection” for ADB debugging.

Click on “Save settings” and restart the emulator after changing the settings.

 

Step 2: Open the instance that has been locked

Open multiple instances at the same time if there are more than one instance that has been locked.

 

Step 3: Download and run the script

Download the script for solving the locked screen issue. After downloading, double click on the file to run the script. It is completed once you see the following screen:

 

After running the script, restart the emulator, and the screen will be unlocked.
