Law of the Corpse Prayer

Jumhur scholars are of the opinion that the law of the funeral prayer is fardhu kifayah. Where if there is already one person who does it, other people's obligations fall.
However, Al-Ashbagh said that the law is sunnah kifayah, so if no one does it, there is no sin except for losing the sunnah.
Congregational Requirements:
a. No Congregation Required
Al-Hanafiyah, Asy-Syafi'iyah and Al-Hanabilah also agreed that there is no requirement for congregational prayers in congregation. So that this prayer remains valid even though it is done alone.
b. Congregation Required
Meanwhile, Al-Malikiyah said that it is required to be in congregation in performing the funeral prayer. The law is similar to the Friday prayer. And if it is done without congregation, it must be repeated again with congregation.
The funeral prayer is also one of the characteristics of the people of Muhammad SAW, where this prayer has never been prescribed before for the previous people.
