Hand Position When Standing Prayer
The nature of the Ulama Prayer is the Nature of the Prophet's Prayer
A question like that actually has quite serious consequences, it is tantamount to accusing the fiqh scholars of not following the Prophet in his prayers.
With simple logic, who actually knows better the nature of the prayer of the Prophet and his Companions? Was it Imam Abu Hanifah (d. 150 H), Imam Malik bin Anas (d. 179 H) who they lived in the 2nd century Hijriyyah and got the hadiths of the Prophet from the mouths of the muhaddits, or scholars who are alive today who got hadiths from books -book?
In fact, this issue has been discussed by scholars for a long time. They all agree that laying hands when praying is legal sunnah, meaning that one's prayer is still valid even if one does not do this.
Precisely one of the weaknesses is reading the way of the Prophet's prayer directly from the hadiths; as in the nature of the Prophet's prayer book, there is no clear enough information when explaining the various actions of the Prophet during prayer. Which are included in the pillars, which are obligatory and which are sunnah.
This has an impact on the confusion of understanding so that one thinks that the Prophet's prayer is just like that, it cannot be reduced or added. Not according to that, means different from the 'sunnah'. Differing from the sunnah means the prayer is invalid.
Even though the nature of prayer that has been written by the scholars, that is the nature of the Prophet's prayer.
